Happy Tails Lodge is the best pet boarding, day care, grooming, and pet store facility in Montana. Our black lab loves running in the spacious yards and having play time with new puppy friends when we go on vacation. We have trusted Happy Tails for almost 2 years. I like Happy Tails because unlike other pet boarding facilities, the dogs are not just left in a cage all day. The big yards provide a fun space for the dogs to run and the staff is welcoming and friendly.
The Happy Tails pet store is known as "The biggest little pet store in Montana" and offers a wide variety of holistic grain-free pet foods that provide animals with premier proteins to keep them happy and healthy at reasonable prices.

My dogs enjoyed the large play yards and had a great time. They love going there.

I would give Happy Trails Lodge a 10 out of 10 rating with 10 being the best!
I feel they take really good care of my dogs, giving them the kind of attention I give when I sit for several dogs and cats.
I also feel the staff is top notch.
They don't come across as being there just to do a job.
They have always been cheerful, interested in what my needs are and helpful!
I don't know the owner of Happy Trails Lodge or any of the staff personally.
I decided to give my business to them after checking out all of the kennels in town.
I recommend Happy Trails to any one with spoiled animals!

Knowing I needed to board my dogs, I did drop in tours of several boarding facilities in our area. With the exception of Happy Tails Lodge, all were basic kennels: concrete floored, chain linked walls and small graveled runs. Not my idea of home away from home.Happy Tails Lodge is different! They have several boarding / price range options to choose from ( more personal attention including more time in large fenced grassy yards with similar sized dogs and semi-private kennels to less time outside always with a personal attendant present). I dropped in on them 3 different times before making a reservation for my dogs. Each time the facility was absolutely clean, all of the staff was very friendly and help full,( I had lots of questions). I was allowed to bring our own food, bedding, toys and treats. They require proof of vaccination and bordattela so my dogs were protected in that area as well as requesting my Veterinary information and having a vet on call for emergencies. The morning my husband was to pick our dogs up, I recieved a phone call in Hawaii confirming that he would be picking them up at the lodge rather than at their east side location which shuttles your pets from the southern and eastern side of town to their north west location which would have been more convenient for him based on our home address. How great was that! This was the first time my babies had been kenneled, I have always take them with me, however there are a few places that I just can't take them. They came home with no kennel smell or any other signs of undue stress and I well be reserving room for them again in September. I highly recommend Happy Tails Lodge for any ones animal family member!
