Rhino Roofing

I so wish we would have had the same experience with this company as the other reviewers. Our 6 year old roof was totaled by the hail storm this summer and instead of using one of the "storm chaser" companies who knocked on the door, I wanted to use a local company. What a mistake in choosing Rhino Roofing! The roof looks awful - all wavy, shingles not laying down, etc. Our 2 month old roof looks like a 30 year old roof that needs to be replaced. Plus, they broke the siding in several areas and roofed over rotted facia without saying anything. Brian, the owner, is by far the worst business person I've ever dealt with when it comes to customer service. DO NOT hire Rhino - find a better company!

It was a great experience. I called for an estimate, they answered the phone and came out to my house the next day. They helped prepare me for the insurance claim process. Once that was finalized, they showed up when they said and completed the project earlier than expected and for exactly the cost that was agreed to. They will be my “go to” for any roofing needs!!

This was for new membrane and composition roofing from hail damage. Rhino Roofing roofed approximately 10 homes in the neighborhood.. I believe we were the last job. I also believe his crew was getting pretty tired. Very professional up front. Explained how meticulous the company was on the job. We were gone during most of our roofing project, approximately 6 days. They were almost done when we returned. A little of the roof was left to do and they were just starting the ridgeline and hips. Our home's roof had a "decorative" architectural touch to the hips. It didn't appear this was going to be replicated. I talked to the company owner about how the roof would look when it was done, mentioning the added height on the hip shingles and he assured me the roof would look exactly like before. I saw before they were done the roof was not going to look like it did before. I called the owner. He told me he wasn't certain that shingle was made anymore, he could do the raised look but he would charge me more than the original bid. I later found out that it was no special product, it was ridge ventilation material. The same they had used on our ridgeline. He apologized but did not offer to make the roof appear as it did before even though he had previously assured me it would. After the job I found what looked like asphalt scrapes and marks on the siding of our home. Also saw one of our gutters was sagging and damaged. Very obvious since it was on our driveway side. He sent one of his men out and he was able to repair the gutter to where it had little appearance it was damage. There had been a crew out earlier that morning to clean some of the gutters they had missed, I had to call on that but I think the damage was done during tear off. The next day I was looking at the roof again. I found several areas where the siding had been pulled out, probably to put new flashing on, but not put back in place. I took care of this. Took me about half a day. Roof looks good. Just hope it performs well. Pretty disappointed all in all. I was lied to. Doesn't set well with me.

It went fantastic, they did everything they said they would and it came out looking perfect. I get comments on it all of the time. Highly recommended!!

My roof replacement story is the "roof from h***."  Rhino Roofing stood steadfast by me, and saved the day.  When I learned that I needed to replace my roof in August of 2015, I signed a contract with one of Missoula's biggest long-time roofing companies.  I paid my upfront deposit and picked out my shingles before the end of August 2015.  Due to the number of homes damaged by that particularly big windstorm, I was told that I was on a waiting list and it would likely be late fall before they could get to my roof.  I called that company every month to find out when my roof would be done -- they kept saying "another month or two, probably November."  The week before Christmas I got a letter from that roofing company saying that they would be unable to complete my roofing project.  A week later I received an e-mail from their roofing foreman which explained "the rest of the story."  Apparently a new owner had bought that particular company a year or two before, and had run this 40-year company into massive bankruptcy, putting it suddenly out of business and laying off all employees.  It was defunct, and now there was snow on my roof and I still hadn't gotten my roof replaced.  Upon my insurance agent's advice I immediately hired a restoration company to inspect my attic to see if any water leakage had occurred due to the delay.  That company recommended Rhino Roofing to me as a prospective new roofing contractor.  I contacted Rhino Roofing owner Brian immediately.  Since that very first phone conversation Brian was consistently responsive in terms of quickly returning phone calls and taking the time to answer questions and build a rapport with his client.  I can't speak highly enough about the level of responsiveness and personal service that Brian provides to a homeowner in need of a roof!!  He always made me feel that he was attentive whenever I was speaking with him, and he made me feel that he was willing to spend time to answer every question that I had along the way.  So, from the very moment that Brian was referred to me by another company and we had our first phone conversation, working with Rhino Roofing has been nothing but a professional and very satisfying experience.  However, .... my roofing story from h*** unfortunately continued, but not due to any fault of Rhino Roofing.  Rhino Roofing was ready to get my new roof on asap, but issues with my insurance company cropped up which led to months' long delays.  I had to file a formal complaint with the State Insurance Commissioner (I won't bother with the details of all that because it is a separate story) which meant Rhino Roofing could not move forward with putting me on their roofing schedule until all of that got resolved.  I kept Brian informed of things as they progressed and he never once wavered in his commitment to get my roof done, despite the repeated delays due to me wrangling with my insurer.  He and Rhino Roofing staff Sherri still returned my every phone call very promptly, responded to every e-mail, and still kept me on their work list.  I think some other roofing companies would have drifted away once so many insurance and payment hassles surfaced, but Rhino Roofing remained steadfast in their original commitment to get a new roof on my house.  Rhino Roofing totally honored their word, which they gave to me both verbally and in the contract they signed with me.  And they kept their word!!!  And, they did a totally fantastic job on providing me with a totally new roof on my house as well as a very nice-looking new fiberglass roof over my patio.  I strongly recommend Rhino Roofing to anyone who is needing roof repairs but also wants highly responsive and personal service.  This is the company for you!

Everyone at Rhino Roofing was a pleasure to work with and they did an excellent job on my roof. Brian gave me a quote within 2 days of my initial call, showed up on time to do the job, finished on time and did not go over budget. I couldn't be happier.

A very professional job from start to finish.  They provided an estimate, answered questions about the process, and then scheduled the roofing at my convenience.  Excellent communication with me throughout the process, which I really appreciated.  The roofing crew did an excellent job. 

I had the best experience with Brian (the owner).  He called me promptly after my friend referred Rhino Roofing to me.  He brought over many samples of the shingles I could possibly choose from.  He gave me an estimate the same day he consulted with me.  He explained what fire and ice shield meant and he took the time to explain all of the charges on his estimate.  I was impressed with his customer service and how quick he returned all of my phone calls.  I never felt like I was bothering him or asking him too many questions.  The roof is looks amazing and his crew were respectful and cleaned up well.  

To further attest to Rhino Roofing's workmanship.  I was getting an estimate for a deck I am having built, and the deck estimator is a structural engineer that works for a big local company.  The structural engineer was at my house for four hours discussing the deck but also observing the roof work that was being done.  He said to me, "just so you know, those guys up there on your roof are doing everything right.  They are doing an exceptional job."  That made me feel even better about my decision to use Rhino.  In the end, the deck estimator wanted to recruit Rhino to do roofing jobs for his company and asked me to connect them.  

Overall a great experience and to know that Rhino was doing a good job from someone else was very reassuring.

When dealing with Brian from Rhino Roofing I received very good service, but this is what you would expect when dealing with the owner of any business. What I was most pleased with was the professionalism from the entire Rhino Roofing crew. Brian helped me with my insurance issues and his crew could not have been more polite, respectful, and professional to me and my family. (I even had my neighbors commenting on how professional and polite the roofing crew was). After they finished my roof I went and searched my yard for nails, staple, and trash that they might have missed, I truly believe they left my yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. 
Thank you so much to Brian and his crew for turning a storm damage roof issue into a very positive experience for me and my family!! I will highly recommend Rhino Roofing to all of my friends and family!

The service was professional from start to finish.  Our first contact brought an immediate response.  We set an appointment to check our roof and were given two bids using two different materials.  The two choices were well explained to so we felt comfortable in making our decision.  At no time did we feel pressured to choose Rhino for the job.  They explained their service and let us make a decision. We were given a date as to when we could expect the work to be preformed and that date was met.  The crew working our our home was courteous and pleasant.  They cleaned up the job site at the end and left the job with all left over materials and waste removed.  I don't expect to need a new roof in the near or far future but if we did I would certainly call Rhino again.  We are happy with our decision to use them and feel comfortable recommending them to others.
