"I can’t say enough good things about working with Peter Harris. We had a construction emergency and Peter took care of it skillfully and efficiently. Just after we went under contract to sell a family member’s condo, a water leak ruined the flooring and some cabinetry throughout the home. Immediately we struggled to work with the insurance company and find a contractor. Sourcing a reliable craftsman in Bozeman’s market seemed nearly impossible, and if we didn’t get the damage fixed quickly and competently, the water was likely to cause even more damage and we may have lost our buyer. With high praise, our realtor referred us to Peter. We were thrilled when he agreed to take on our job and ecstatic when we saw his work product was above reproach. Working with Peter was a joy, as well. He started the project almost immediately, gathering information for the insurance claim and ordering supplies. "Preston of G-1 Plumbing performed the services and addressed the toilet & drain problem. He was unable to stop leak(made it worse) & submitted his recs to Choice Home for review. I was unable to understand Choice Home's response regarding the faucet leak. Their review stated faucet needed to be replaced BUT it was under "builder's warranty." I built this home in 2005. There is no "builder's warranty" now. I cancelled the proposed work order & paid out-of-pocket. A Friend, who was familiar with my builder and knows faucet components, came to my home, adjusted/cleaned the faucet cartridge and stopped the leak. The CHW tech, Preston, is conscientiuos, however, IMHO lacked the knowledge & experience to stop my leak. Home Warranty Companies, at least in my area, hire owner/operators who need the work to build their business and are NOT the most experienced/knowledgeable & are willing to work for less money. In my experience, Home Warranty Companies want the CHEAPEST resolution, not the BEST. I would recommend G-1 Plumbing for most plumbing issues."
