They changed my son $112.00. To look at it and said they didn't have to tools to fix it.

I took my Toyota here to find out why a warning light kept coming on when I put my car in gear and to look at my TPMS light. I waited a week to get it in, just for them to charge me $112 to say they couldn't bring up the light or work on the TPMS. I got my keys and the light started again in their parking lot. I got the mechanic who worked on it to look at it. He couldn't figure it out and went inside to ask his boss, twice, what to do. They only came up with rescheduling and having them try to figure it out later. The Toyota Certified mechanic wouldn't even come out and look at it, after waiting a week and in light of their incompetency. Also, why didn't they say they didn't have the tools to work on a TPMS before I got charged? Unbelievable, I will never go back and will tell everyone how bad the service is.

My older Toyota truck had gone the limit with its original engine. I found a rebuilt engine from an out of state re-manufacturer that sounded as though it would be a good serviceable one. I spoke with Keith, the owner of Rising Sun Toyota about receiving the engine and installing it. He quoted a good reasonable price (no one is cheap) and he stuck by his estimate.
He knew just what components should be changed at the time the engine was being replaced and I found his advice to be valuable and based on years of knowledgeable experience.
The replacement engine had a few minor problems but Keith undertook remediation as if he himself were responsible for the re-manufacture even though I had selected the engine and purchased it independently.

I have used Keith for many years and have had nothing but good results. I'm sure I've saved thousands of dollars by using Rising Sun for my Toyota repair versus the local dealer.

Setting up and conducting the appointment was very plesant. I was contacted by phone before any of the work started and given a list of issues and approximate costs to repair - the estimates were accurate. I liked the professional yet personal approach to my appointment. I would recommend this small team to anyone with a Subaru, Toyota, etc.
