PENKAL PAINTING

Russ Penkal was great - friendly, competent and sent me an estimate quickly.  The estimate came in MUCH higher than anyone else we had look at the project, but we were in a time crunch and Penkal was willing to work within our time frame.  The two people who showed up to actually complete the work did not show up when they said they would, but they eventually arrived each day, except the last day when the finishing touches should have been performed.  I am also under the impression that one of them had very little experience with that type of work if any at all.  They failed to show up at all the last day, so my husband and I completed the job, gathered the remaining tools and materials belonging to Penkal and placed them outside for pick up.  We told Russ about the situation and he did knock a little off the final invoice for our troubles.  We are pleased with the finished product, but disappointed with the work ethic and over all price.
