Bozeman Community Auto, formerly Automatic Transmission Solutions, is locally owned and operated by Eric and Lisa Godwin-Austen. Eric has 30 years auto repair experience in both foreign and domestic automobiles, and is an ASE Certified Master Technician. Jeff Schlabs, the former owner of Automatic Transmission Solutions, works with Eric and Lisa rebuilding and repairing auto transmissions.

I called every place in town and either their rates were too high or they couldn't get me into their shop for weeks. Jeff got me into his shop right away, gave me a fair price on a rebuilt transmission and had my car up and running again in a matter of days. I highly recommend this shop for transmission needs.

I called Jeff with what I thought were transmission problems. I described the symptoms over the phone. It was 8:00. He said bring it in right away, which I did. Upon arriving at his shop, he brought out his diagnostic equipment and ran the codes while talking with me. There were no codes. He then drove around with the diagnostics working on the truck. Again no codes and no problems. He explained why my transmission reacted the way it did, and how to prevent the problems. He felt there was nothing wrong with the transmission. He would not accept payment, even though I told him another transmission shop wanted to replace the transmission at a cost of over $3000. He just asked that I send work his way when I need it, and I definitely will! Professional, courteous, respectful - qualities of times gone by, that Jeff possesses.
