I hired Badger to perform a bathroom rough-in (plumbing already in the wall; just tap in and provide hot/cold for sink, shower, toilet). He arrived on site to check out the job (I later found out he billed for mileage and 1.5 hours of he and his 'apprentice' time). He came back a couple of days later and completed the job (although he didn't have all the right pieces so I had to run to the hardware store to avoid paying his hourly rate). Did I mention, his 'apprentice' is his girlfriend? She knew less about plumbing than I did, and didn't really help much except to get things from the truck or cut a piece of PEX. He took a 45 minute lunch and billed me for it. He helped me install a whirlpool tub and one of the jets broke during install, which he declined responsibility for (I help lift the tub in so it was a joint effort to break the jet, but he blamed me and took no responsibility). One good thing - I was able to negotiate a lower bill, but I still had to pay someone else to come out and fix the broken jet since he wouldn't touch it.Overall a negative experience, but plumbers can be difficult to deal with so it's kind of expected.
Description of Work: I was adding a bathroom to an unfinished daylight basement. The waste lines were in the concrete and inside the studwall of the bathrooom. I asked Badger to tap in to the water lines and provide hot and cold for the sink and shower, and cold for toilet.
