Rimrock Cabinet Co

Rimrock was very responsive to any questions, design changes, and changes needed because contractor made some major errors. They had tough scheduling problems because the general contractor, against Rimrocks' and my wishes, made them put the cabinets in before any flooring was done. They even returned to help with the dishwasher problems caused by floor tile installed after the cabinets---which made the hole too small in the dishwasher base cabinet. Shawn put out a lot of brush fires during this new home kitchen installation, and Jay was a meticulous craftsman.
The general disorganization of the contractor made working conditions almost intolerable---but Rimrock Cabinet guys worked very hard inspite of it all!
There was also a delay in ordering the cabinets because of contractor financial mismanagement & lack of honesty, but Jim at Rimrock dealt with the situation very tactfully.

First of all, I gave them all A's because of the project manager, Shawn, even though there were problems because of the salesman.
When the cabinets we ordered came in the salesman had forgotten to order one cabinet.  We also found out that he had neglected to advise us that once the counter top people came to measure for the new counter top that it would take up to 2 weeks for it to be installed.  Fortunately the missing cabinet was a middle one so that once the rest of the cabinets were in the counter top people could come and measure.  The missing cabinet came in sooner than anticipated, which was great.  The project manager, Shawn, was great to work with and he did everything he could to get our kitchen back in order as soon as possible.  Unfortunately we didn't even get an apology from the salesman for forgetting to order one cabinet and not telling us about the 2 week lag time to get the counter top.  In addition he ordered soft close drawers and not soft close doors and one set of cabinets that the doors opened up had regular hinges on them so you needed 3 hands to put anything in them.  Shawn was great to make it right by changing all of the hinges on the doors to soft close and hinges on the 2 doors that opened up kept the doors open until you closed them.  They came right away to put in the missing cabinet once it came and did a great job of covering the gap between the cabinets and the flooring since we didn't have time to have the flooring continued to the wall under the cabinets as that would have needed to be ordered too.

Designer was lacking personality skills until I more than less told her to start helping us making descisions. It was okay though! So the cabinets were in the Rimrock's cabinets warehouse but we waited an extra two weeks because the installer was elk hunting. Which I had no problem with because I elk hunt also. The designer said he was the best of the best so that is the reason why we waited! So, the installer got to our home and started installing our cabinets and ended up reading the blue print wrong and had to take the cabinets he installed down and move everything to the right about 4 inches. So that made serveral holes in the back of the cabinets. He also moved the electrical box over then moved back to the orginal spot, so that made a hole in our drywall that I had to cover up. The installer damaged 10 cabinets, 1 panel (refrigerator area),  1 corner of upper cabinet was dented like someone hit it with a hammer or maybe dropped. Left a screw showing that he tried attaching two bottom cabinets together. Out of  45 handles he maybe got 25 of them straight.  It was clearly a hurry up job for him! The moral of this is get your own installer and make sure he/she knows what their doing because Rimrock Cabinets is not backing up their installers!
