I called because we had no hot water.  I let the receptionist know that we thought it was our hot water heater.  She said someone could come out at 2:30pm; I told her I needed to be at work.  She arranged it so someone could be at my house in less than an hour.  When Mat arrived, he quickly figured out that it wasn't the hot water heater, but a broken pipe.  He called a plumber out to fix the problem.  Perry came out and fixed the leak and installed a more accessible water shut off valve.  Perry was friendly and professional and explained everything thouroughly.  It took longer than I had hoped--we are in an 1980  manufactured home with old plumbing--but he still fininshed within a very reasonable time.  Throughout the experience, everyone was professional and courteous.  They explained things without being condensending, which as a woman, I really appreciate it.   I feel the price was very reasonable--in fact--I had thought it would be doubled.
I would definitely hire them again.  From start to finish they made a very stressful situation as pleasant as possible.

We have an insurance policy for the house, and so if we have any problems they contact a plumber for us.  So we’ve had a couple of different plumbers for one reason or another, but ProTech Mechanical Inc seems to be the most knowledgeable and efficient.  They’re conscientious and friendly.  They’re very knowledgeable.  One time when they were replacing our water heater, they came in and looked around.  They looked at our main sewer line down at the basement and they talked us through it 3.34 to 3.35 within 6 months, and 5 minutes later it broke.  So somebody else from the company came to do that job.  We don’t know what the charges were because we just spend $65 deductible for the house insurance company.  We will use them again in the future if we need to.

I was doing a job and I had to remove and put back the unit, so I called them. The price was pretty good from what I can remember. They were there quick and were very professional.

They worked with on payment options. They were really quick. It only took them a week to repair our sewer line. I would use them again.

Last time they visited it was to check my a/c unit as my house was not cooling as it should.  They fiddled with the condensing unit and checked the pressure on the hoses and made sure it had freon.  Then put temp gauges on the registers in various rooms to see if the temp was where it was suppose to be.  Seemed like the gentleman stood around and talked more than anything.  Was charged for 1 and 1/2 hours but no actual repairs were made. Total waste of my time.

I don't think this company is any better or worse then most out there.  I just prefer a better value for my money and will look for another company next time I need work done.

They were very professional.  They were fair.  They did a good job.  They came out quickly.  They stayed until the job was done.  They just did a tremendous, tremendous job.  I am very impressed with them.

Everything went very well. They were courteous and called right before they showed. They stayed late to get the job that day.

It is hard to say how the job went since the company did not do any work, just charge us money for an estimate.  I cannot show any pictures either since they did not touch anything on the unit or ductwork.  I am very displeased with the lack of professionalism and honesty in this company and very strong urge others to be very careful if you even want to take a chance with a company that operates like this.

Our A/C and furnace stopped working. I attempted to repair it, but was unsuccessful. We contacted Pro-Tech and arranged a visit to determine the problem. They would not give us an estimate without a repair attempt, which I believe is becoming standard. The technician was friendly and helpful. He repaired it within an hour, and explained the trouble to my wife (a burst transistor, probably due to a surge or lightning). He used the remaining minimum time billable to clean and maintain our AC instead of billing 2 hours and leaving after an hour and 15 minutes. We were satisfied. We will probably use them again.

Called the dispatch and they had a tech call us back with an estimated time of arrival in 2hrs because he was putting in a hot water heater in a town on the other side of Billings. Once he arrived and started getting to work he informs my husband that he does small jobs and this is 2nd call ever. He does not have the correct equipment with him and calls his supervisor to come over with the correct machine to get past this obstruction. Roughly an hour later the 2nd guy shows up and starts snaking thru with the correct machine. All and all they were there for 4hrs and charged us for both guys plus overtime since it went past midnight. In the process of doing this work they broke a drain pipe for the kitchen drain and had to repair it too. Drain backed up the next day and when called was informed by Travis that he could come out and replace the floor drain for $2500 or we could wait until Monday and only pay $1500. Hubby told him he'd call back later with an answer. We left for town and when came home found the basement flooded. We had to put down sand tubes in hopes of keeping it from the hot water heater and furnace. Water went down overnight and was within the floor drain by morning and then rose again to flood stage by noon. We again left and this time went to my parents house to shower since we were not putting ANY liquids down the drains and get a call from the neighbors across the alley who tell us that they are flooded too. come to find out that the main sewer line had a blockage in it and it was coming up into my house. No mention of this from either of the techs, not even sure they looked for this possibility. So we had a smelly sewage pond in the basement for the entire weekend and it wasn't our pipe at all. I spoke with their accounts receivable and already informed them that I find their bill for two techs when they sent the wrong guy totally wrong. And added that there is a really good chance I will not be hiring them to replace this broken floor drain either.

Our water heater went out the night before and we called ProTech the next morning. They promptly came out and had the new water heater installed and working before Noon the next day. The job was done right and they were a pleasure to deal with.

We just bought a house that had a 25 year old A/C and Furnace unit and we needed to have it replaced, as well as, to take advantage of the Federal Tax Credits with the upgrade. We contacted ProTech Mechanical and they were extremely professional, experienced, and very fair priced. The units arrived 2 days later and they came out the same day and began to install them. The techs that worked on our units were very professional and worked through the day without even taking a lunch break. They worked to ensure that everything was done right and to our satisfaction. The owner of the business personally spoke with us and we were extremely pleased with their preformance.
