scheduled for 8:30 called at 9:00 to say they would be another 20 minutes got here at 9:35.
Two guys came in did something under the sink, came out and said they broke one washer but that all the washers needed to be replaced asked if I wanted them to do that I agreed then they said they had to go get washers,
Returned in about 15 minutes did more of something under the sink came out and said they'd go work out the bill. Went to truck came back in 10 minutes later with a bill of $150.00+. The guy said they snaked it as far as they could and if I had more trouble to call them.
The drain ran OK Monday afternoon and Tuesday, started to slow on Wednesday, and was back to needing plunged on Thursday.
The employees were not rude or offensive in anyway.
I don't have confidence in the company to call them to work on the plumbing again because they were an hour late, needed two guys, and had to go get washers which seem to me a pretty standard item for a plumber to have in the truck.

Company was suppose to be a week earlier, but ran into vehicle problems, so we rescheduled. Technician was two hours late, from promised time. Was here for less than an hour. Expensive, but good quality work.

Ernest arrived on time. He checked the filter, found it clean and advised us to clean it once a month. He then checked the outside unit and found the condenser full of dirt and dust. He took apart the unit and began hosing it off, describing how to accomplish this in the future. He advised doing this once a year after the cottonwood tree seeds are finished flying. He  told me the best way to keep the unit covered and still allow airflow. He further advised that the switch, compositer and relay will  need to be checked/replaced in the future as general maintenence. He described the steps he was taking to put the unit back together and then checked the refrigeration coolant levels. Ernest then came inside to check the thermostat and a vent to be sure the AC was up and running. He then wrote up the service invoice. Ernest was professional and courteous.  We highly recommend Pro-Tech. Thanks for the coupon Angie.

Purchased 3 toilets at Lowes; ProTech is their installer.  Appt made for Tues afternoon for install -- call advised that technicail was running late; eventurally recsheduled for Wednesday morning.  Aaron called after picking up toilets at Lowes; asked if I was prepared. 
Aaron is a professional insstaller.  Appx 2 hours to install all 3.  Removed old toilets and cleaned area.  Aaron was a real fine young man.  Outstanding job!!

In March of 2013 we had decided to add central AC to our home.  This required us to replace our 38 year old furnace, which we replaced with a Energi Air Systems (Goodman) GMVC 950905CXAC stage furnace from ProTech Mechanical (Billings MT).  We only had a couple of days after the installation that we even needed to use the furnace.  During that time my wife had complained that the new furnace didn't seem to warm up the house very well.  Most of the time the furnace would work fine, but occasionally it seemed that it just wouldn?t heat the house.
We had a service call then, with immediate response from ProTech to look at our furnace.  The problem seemed to be that when the furnace needed to go into high fire (second stage) it wouldn?t light.  That would cause and error and put the furnace into lockout until it was reset.  This can be done by turning off power to the furnace, or by the user from the thermostat by switching it off of heat and back on.  The ProTech technician reset it, tested, and it seemed to be working fine.  This took us all through summer, with Central AC working great.
Once the weather had turned cold and we had switch back over to the furnace, we immediately started having problems.  The furnace would intermittently go into lockout, so the heat in the house seemed random, so and another service call to ProTech, this one not quite as quick.
This seemed to be more of an issue with the ProTech dispatcher than the technician.  I?d called in and was put on hold and being transferred over to the dispatcher, when the receptionist would come back on the line to tell me that the dispatcher had stepped out and would call me back.  The dispatcher never called back, and I mean ever, I had to call back repeatedly.  This was the exact same scenario for all my subsequent service calls.
Fortunately a technician always came the same day.  We had about 5 service calls from ProTech on this over about a 30 day period, and several parts, leading up to the November 11, 2013 one that fixed the actual problem.  The problem turned out to be a pneumatic control line that was mis-routed, either during installation or manufacture.
It is now March 31, 2014, almost 5 months since and no more problems and happy that it is working great.
I had some difficulty with the ratings.  I am very happy with the equipment; and most it is the most "Bang for the buck" compared to all the others I looked at.  I thought the technicians that did my service were great.  Talk through everything they did, including the problems associated with a seemingly random issue.  The only issue I have is when I get the same story about the dispatcher, and no call back.  This cost them the 'A' and almost made me rate them as a 'C', but the rest of my service brought me back around.

The shower work went okay, but the guy clearing the kitchen sink clog seemed to be a total idiot, and he had to ask the other guy for help. I had the impression that the kitchen sink guy may have been hampered by some sort of medication.

When I was washing dishes in the kitchen sink I heard water coming out from under the sink. Looking, I thought that the disposal was leaking.
I called Pro Tech and they sent a plumber within an hour. He looked and said that it was not the the disposal but a pipe leading to it from the sink. He also noticed that the other pipes and trap were to the age (35 years) that they too would rust out and leak. He showed me how it was rusting. He said best to replace all the pipes with PVC. He also told me that the disposal was still ok and not really necessary to be replaced right now. I knew that the disposal was just as old and starting to make strange noises so I told him to go ahead and replace it too since it would be easier to just do it when he had everything taken apart anyway.  I appreciated that he gave me the choice and that he was not trying to sell something that really did not need to be replaced immediately.
Worker was very nice, informative and tidied up after himself.

Boiler not working on a Sunday afternoon.  Called the answering service.  We said we could wait until the following a.m. for service.  The technician was there early.  The replacement part fails every two years or so, so he brought us a spare the next day.

Work required two trips, a week apart.  We are located 50 miles from town, so getting service for anything tends to be difficult and expensive.  Pro Tech was very good.  We had, of course to pay mileage both ways, and labor cost for travel time.  They did give us a break on the mileage cost on the second trip out.  The good news was that the technician knew his business, and did not waste any time getting it completed.   Their price was reasonable, given the fact that we always have to pay a lot extra by living so far from town.  That is our issue, not the contractors.  When we contracted with them, they were completely upfront on the hourly costs, mileage costs and travel time, so there were no surprises.  The only unknown was cost of  the new equipment, which we decided on with the technician during the first visit.
