They showed up early and there were two very young men and they apparently were very inexperienced. They told me the truck was packed and there was at least 1/3 of my belongings still in the house. When I told them they left that much in the house they had to unpack and repack the truck, thus costing me more time and money.
They put a 55 inch LED television leaning against the wall of the truck sitting on the floor of the truck. Electronics should not be moved where they will receive a lot of vibration. The worst of it all is they packed my bedroom suite without covering it with the blankets that were provided and thus the headboard, dresser and night stand were destroyed by deep cuts and even broke the bottom
of the dresser.
When I called the owner he assured me he would submit a claim to his insurance company. I sent pictures and wrote an email and didn't hear back for 5 days so I called him only to hear that he doesn't feel responsible for his packers that they were only helpers and he doesn't have to pay nor will he submit a claim. He blamed the damage on the driver of the vehicle because it was so badly packed that things were everywhere when the truck door was opened. If it had been packed properly then there may have been some movement during travel but nothing to indicate this kind of damage.
