Kitchen Tune-Up

Mitch was excellent to work with. He listened to what I wanted and offered great ideas to make my dream kitchen a reality. He was always punctual and professional. Had a family death during the process and he respected my need to postpone for a shory while and sent a lovely card. I am currentky working with him on a bathroom remodel.

Mitch's communication is excellent - never kept me waiting, was helpful, and the removal of the old countertops and the installation of the new countertops went smoothly. I had hickory cabinets, which I decided to keep - but the quartz countertops gave the kitchen and masterbath a new look!

We had a very positive experience with Mitch Petty and his crew.  The quality of the cabinets exceeded our expectations in both materials and workmanship.  Shipments arrived on the scheduled dates and the installation dates were met on the dot.  The installation went smoothly with real craftsmen doing the work.  Their attention to detail made our new kitchen beautiful.  They cleaned up the construction mess each day before leaving the job site.  We have no complaints

This project took approximately three days, and we thought Mitch did a superb job - from helping us make initial decisions about wood and door styles to completing the work. I have been in my house for over 30 years. My kitchen cabinets needed to be resurfaced due to years of grease, steam damage, and normal wear and tear. I loved my cabinets and didn't want to change anything, but they needed to be cleaned up, sanded and re-stained. I knew that if I were to do the project myself, it would be time consuming and very costly. I had come across Kitchen Tune-up at the Fall Home Improvement Show. They had a service called the "Tune-up". Instead of having to sand and re-stain, their process was exactly what I was looking for. I left my name and number at their booth to get more information. The following week I received a call from Mitch and he set up a time to come to look at my kitchen. He explained the three-step process and gave me a very affordable estimate. He told me that he could have it done in one day. We set a date for the following week to have the cabinets worked on. Mitch was punctual and very thorough. We were home while he worked, but we hardly noticed he was there. The project did take one day, but it was a longer day than he anticipated. Because some of the steam damage to our cabinets was a little extensive, he took the extra time to make sure that job was done to perfection. The color match was incredible and the oil treatment made our cabinets look rich and brand new. We were extrememly happy with the results from Kitchen Tune-up. What would have been a weeks-long project for me turned out to be a very affordable, one-day job for Mitch that was worth every penny. I would highly recommend Kitchen Tune-up for your cabinet restoration needs.
