Fischer & Erwin are very thorough and careful in the screening process for tenants, which is very important. Our experience is that they are responsive when we call or when our tenants have called, and their staff, whether it be service related or administrative, are helpful and competent. Monthly statements are accurate and they are easy to work with. They are fair and honest. They also schedule walk troughs with tenants to inspect the property and summarize anything that the tenant or us needed to take care of. I am not sure how regularly they do this – it may be annual. We really appreciated this. They also have contacts with good third-party service providers for work they cannot directly do. When we moved to Billings, Fischer & Erwin went out of their way to help us settle in. There were some improvements we wanted to make, such as adding egress windows and installing a shower in a bathroom, and they helped us identify contractors and service providers such as plumbers who could do the work. Fischer & Erwin own some properties and manage properties for other people, and I highly recommend them for landlords and tenants.Fischer & Erwin focus is real estate and particularly property management. When you are an owner, and looking to make improvements in something you own and decide to live in, you need to make what you want is clear. The decisions you make as an owner and as landlord might be different depending on the situation. Fischer & Erwin was flexible in adapting.
