It was a tough job due to old and rusty fittings. It took awhile but in the end it was successful.

I asked around Facebook, and every body told me to contact them. They were very fast to respond, and had a good price. I liked that they responded, a lot of people don't even respond, and they resolved my issue.

Brown Plumbing and Heating did service work in our home on our boiler in early 2013. I called Brown in reference to the bill after receiving the bill because I felt I was overcharged for travel time and labor. The necessary part was not on Brown's truck. The technician has to leave, purchase the part, and return to install the part. The part was defective, so he uninstalled the part, left, purchased another part, returned, and installed the new replacement part. I objected to paying for TWO trips (really, I was surprised he didn't have the part on his truck to begin with and to find I was being charged for additional travel time to begin with). During the conversation we agreed to take one hour off of the bill. The invoice has never been updated to reflect that agreement. However, after referring my account to "pre-collections", the invoice has been fully paid, less the one hour of labor. Brown Plumbing has continued pursuing the additional hour of labor, claiming the billing adjustment was only good for one week. While the service was as expected, paying for extra labor is not acceptable.

The last problem I had was at my commercial property. Again the water pressure was too high. During the night the pressure has blown the valve completely out of one of the toilets. It was so hard the top of the back of the toilet was blown off. The water was gushing about a foot over the top of the toilet.
I shut everything off, called Brown, and they came out the following day and fixed everything. Sent me a bill for a very small amount and corrected other parts that were leaking.

Our experience with them has been excellent. I live in an older home that has a drain problem that has just been persistent. We had their competition come in and root it out and it would be good for a couple weeks. We got Brown Plumbing in and they said we couldn't root it out because there was a 90 degree bend in it. He said the only way to get it done correctly was to cut a panel out behind a vanity and cut a section of the pipe out and get in there and take care of the clog and splice the pipe back together with PVC or rubber. They were in and out in an hour and a half or less. It was fixed permanently. We had the other guys out five times in a year and a half period of time. Brown was interested in actually fixing our problem and not writing an invoice and getting our money. They didn't even want us to pay on the spot; they said they would bill us. They were just awesome. When I have had a good experience with someone, I will tell people. And we had a good experience with these guys.
