Brewer Dental Center

This was simply the biggest nightmare.  My regular Dentist came in for a few minutes and did a brief exam.  Then they did the old switcheroo and had another dentist come in to do the work.  I have heard that this is inappropriate.    EXTREME pain after the anesthesia wore off.  Had to stop, pull over and take pain meds to drive home.  Full blown tooth (nerve) pain.  Had an emergency apt 3 days later so another dentist at Brewer Dental Center could take a look at the tooth.  He said that the filling was too close too the nerve and I would probably have to have a root canal to kill the nerve - soon or later. When he gave me an injection in my mouth tears ran down my face from the relief of the pain.  After 3 more days I had another appointment where the Dentist proclaimed what a fine filling it was.  Then he said he thought the problem might be that the tooth was hitting too **** ** opposing teeth. So he gave me a shot and quickly began grinding down the tooth and then GRINDING DOWN THE OPPOSING TEETH.  These teeth were perfectly fine.  He started grinding before I was even slightly numb and didn't check if I was numb.  The numbness started kicking in once I had left the office.  This "tooth grinding" did not help and I was still in excruciating pain for the next several days.  I then scheduled to have a root canal with my regular dentist and NO ONE ELSE.  Brewer Dental center cancelled that appointment and it was difficult getting another appointment that would work with my schedule so I decided to go to another dental office.  Once I went to the new dental office, we had to pull the tooth.  It was discovered that the filling that the dentist did at Brewer had blood contamination under it and the tooth was no longer viable.  I am currently asking Brewer Dental Center to pay for an implant to be performed at the new dental office.

Brewer Dental Center is easy for me to recommend to anyone seeking dental care.  They are "hands-down" the best dental office I have ever been to, and we're talking about six (6) offices across the US over a 40-year period.  The entire staff was kind, positive, professional, empathetic, and totally geared toward my individual comfort and concern.  I have observed that they treat every person of every age as an individual and that is refreshing.  The offices are new and the equipment is state-of-the-art. They are current on all the new methods and technologies for the industry.  To resolve my situation, Dr. Brewer did two root canals and two side-by-side crowns on my upper molars.  When installing the crowns, I was impressed with the meticulous care that he and his assistant took to ensure everything was aligned perfectly. Dr. Brewer is a humble man who is deeply passionate about his profession and has well over 30 years of diversified experience.   

Pricewise, this level of work was quite expensive.  During my initial consultation, they presented and we discussed a variety of options, details, possible complications, and down the road costs that could affect me later in life. They checked with my insurance and helped me navigate all the billing issues. We found a reasonable way to make it all work with payments over time that fit into my budget.  They called, sent texts, and emailed me for appointments and follow-ups, and checked in on how I was doing after the procedures. 

The end result is my excellent smile and seeing quality work every time I look in a mirror.  I firmly believe they provide an excellent service to the Billings area, and they will be my dental office of choice for the future.  Kudos to Angie's List for steering me in the right direction.  It was that high level of service I hope for, and exactly what I received.  Thank you

I being able to use the same doctor that will keep me going there at best possible rather than whoever is available. They are very good. I would probably use them again in the future.

A crown for a broken tooth.

It is a large dentist office.  Very friendly staff.  Their scheduling process is very easy.  Everybody there is really friendly.  It is a new office.  They just opened; so obviously, it is a very nice building and everything is new & updated.  The dentist is good about explaining everything before he did anything.  He is really fun to work with.  They are pretty easy to get an appointment.

I went on a Saturday in December. I was given four injections and told the dentist would be with me shortly. I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally the dentist came in maybe 45 or 55 minutes after I had been given the shots. He put a drill to one of my teeth and it about lifted me out of the chair with pain, the medication had worn off significantly. So, I had to have all the shots again, not fun. There is a few things worth mentioning here. While filling my teeth the dentist and assistant chatted about their Christmas, their kids, vacations etc - not once did they talk to me. At Brewer they put a TV screen in front of your face and the interaction seems to end there. I am a RN, whenever I am in a room with a doctor and patient, our focus is 100% on the patient - it's not a time for doctor/nurse to visit. The only time the dentist spoke to me was to tell me he seemed to be having trouble reaching where he needed to. So, after a long time, the four teeth were filled and I got up to leave. I was feeling really lightheaded and disoriented, but no one asked me if I was ok. I went and paid my bill, then called my husband because I didn't feel well enough to drive. My husband told me when he picked me up that I was deathly pale and wasn't making any sense - I was really drugged up. Then the fun really started. I went home, went to bed and slept it off. When the medication wore off I got up and I drank a glass of water - I had extreme sensitivity pain. This continued on for the next week or so with any hot or cold foods/drinks, I never had this problem before. I called Brewer and made an appointment to be seen since I was in pain every day. At the appointment, they took x-rays and said that one of the fillings looked a bit "high" but that they couldn't do anything about it and to call them in 4 weeks if I was still having pain. Four weeks! So, I left, and just dealt with the pain. For a while I was taking about 8 ibuprofen a day - just to get through a day at work. I started using sensodyne toothpaste and that has really helped with the sensitivity. Overall my experience was really negative, I wonder if I ever needed the four fillings to begin with, it seems strange that they suddenly appeared within six months. I wish I had gone for a second opinion before going to Brewer. As a company they seem more interested in their marketing and advertising campaigns than in their patients. I know they pay customers for a google review, the customer has to bring in the review to the front desk to get $10,  seems like a really good way for them to get positive reviews! This was a horrible experience for me, I will never ever go back to Brewer dental ever again.

I have two boys and both have braces so we go once a month.  They do a good job.  I really like the orthodontist and he is very thorough.  He takes his time.  I had one that had some issues and he was very careful about how he approached it.  He made sure I knew all my options and stuff.  The staff is very friendly and they are always on time.

It was an excellent experience.  The office is clean and professional.  The staff is friendly and helpful.  I would highly recommend to anyone!

I would never go back to him unless I absolutely had to.

Good!  They are good.  They had good bedside manner and everything.  They did regular check up on me.  They check your teeth on how they are.

After the treatment I still had pain in the same area.  They did bring me in a few more times, but said there was nothing wrong.  I felt that the visits were hurried, and the provider needed to get to the next patient.  I have since seen another dentist.  The tooth next to the treated tooth was infected and needed a root canal.   I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

The staff was wonderful and Dr. Taylor took the time to visit a bit before fully explaining the xrays. Did not try to up sale on any services.

I am very pleased with this dental center.  They were very professional, very curteous.  It is a very warm, welcoming office just as I  walked in the door.  It is very nice to have such availability for appointments, calling a few days ahead of time and getting exactly what time both my husband and I wanted both of us at the same time, in adjacent rooms, so we got done at the same time and neither of us had to wait.  They are also open on Saturday up in the Heights Office, which is very handy since we live out of town.  The cleaning was very comfortable and they kept me entertained and distracted by having a flat screen tv lined up right at my line of sight on a swivel arm.  The doctor was very knowledgeable and experienced and I could tell he truly wanted me to have good, healthy teeth, gums, and mouth.  The technology they had was very very nice in the way that they brought up all my x-rays on that same TV screen I was watching the DIY network on during the cleaning, and he explained exactly what was going on my mouth and what to watch for in the future.  He also offered my an alternative to one of my teeth that was moving after already having braces 10 years ago, but much easier than wearing a retainer every night, which is what my old dentist was having me do.  I am very pleased I switched dentists and will continue to go here from now on.  I do highly recommend Brewer Dental Center to kids and adults all around.

They promise they will call you in the morning and they'll get you in the same day. They are nice and they help me about the specific issue that a doctor can figure out.

He is excellent and has a nice manner about him. He has a nice staff and he does good work even on a difficult crown once. He fixed what another dentist did not do well. His prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend him as well.

They are really good at getting you in the office. We like the treatment they provide. The staff are so friendly they will even text you on your birthday. There are several dentist in the office at all times. They have a very busy office but they are really organized and professional. We will continue to go there in the future.
