She is in the wrong profession. Lisa Marie knows how to decorate in one style only and does not listen to the customer wishes or styles. I have a living room with furniture that we hate. We had great doubts before ordering anything only to be reassured many times it would look beautiful. My "red" leather sofa, which is supposed to be higher than the one it replaced (it isn't) is maroon, the chairs are uncomfortalbe and do not go with the decor of the house. The curtains are very pretty, however, they make our bright and cheery bedroom, look dark and dismal on a cloudy day (we get lots of cloudy days in NW Montana). The bedding is out of place and is not the color we requested, but again, we were assured it was perfect. That, too, is non returnable.. the check she volunteered to drop off at a contractors never made it. The stool we have, despite warning her that we thought the cover choice would not work with our cat, has been pulled and is in a closet. The area rug we thought was on approval, had to be shipped back at our expense, after being told the supplier was talked into taking it back. We were never given invoices from the suppliers. Lisa Marie's idea of a bill is handwritten on graph paper. After requesting help picking paint, we were told she doesn't do "paint." other than one shade of Ralph Lauren. There was no meeting of the minds. And there are also no refunds--we are stuck as Lisa Marie balked at the idea of working something out.Lisa Marie has worked primarily in the Bozeman/Big Sky area on mega homes with unlimited budgets. We discovered after paying her a set fee, she was unfamiliar with furniture/design stores in our area and was unwilling to support our local businesses. We were not impressed with the name dropping or her hard luck story--we gave her an easy task--she failed miserably. I have worked with at least 7 different decorators and have never had such a decorating disaster. I am embarrassed for friends to see my living room. We have removed the items from the bedroom--we tried hard to learn to live with them--it hasn't happened.I believe she is a victim of being a legend in her own mind.
