After the roofing was completed (last fall), I couldn't get in contact with Brian at all. His answering service wouldn't accept any more messages. I was sure that he was very busy, and I would eventually get a message to him.
Come spring of this year, I was finally able to get a message to Brian, and I reminded him that he was to have replace the gutters after the roofers finished last fall. I was more than a little annoyed that the gutters were not up during the winter, and that the melting snow was cascading off the roof.
Brian quickly contacted me about getting the gutters put back up after he got the message. He apologized profusely and repeatedly. He hadn't created a paper ticket for my project during the rush to get the gutters removed, and had forgotten about my project in the rush to finish the season.
He put up new gutters and down-spouts, and charged me only for the materials to make it right with me. It was hard to remain annoyed with Brian for leaving me without gutters for the winter. He is a very honest guy, that simply made an honest mistake, and tried very hard to make it right again. I would still recommend him to others.
