Vicksburg Animal Hospital

I took my 4day old yorkie puppy there to get her tail docked and when I got there they took my puppy to the back and told me to come back in an hour to get her! Well when I got back an hour later the girl working behind the desk asked if I wanted her dew claws removed also. So I asked how much more it would cost because I only had what I paid for the tail to be docked. She said it would cost me $15.00 more! Luckily a vet tech happened to hear her and told me she was wrong because that was included in the fee I had already paid!!! Then about 4 weeks later I went to pick some worm med. up for her and paid for it and left. I didn't even have her with me and about 2weeks later I got a bill for $20.00 for them deworming her! I had to call and tell them I was the one who wormed her not them and they only sold me the medication and I had my receipt and they needed to check their records!!! Well when it was time to start her vaccinations I called to get an estimate and they quoted me a price that was more than twice the amount that the vets in a town only 20 minutes away charges!!! So even with the gas cost I save money taking my pets to the next town because all the vets in my town charge at least twice as much and they get better care and I don't have to worry about them trying to get money I don't owe from me!!!

They are wonderful. If there was such a thing as an A plus, they would get it. They actual take time. You can tell that they very much care for the animals from the veterinarian himself to the assistant. The assistants have been there for 24 years, most of them. They have taken care of everybody's dogs and the next dogs and cats. Their price is reasonable. It is easy. They're wonderful. They even tried very hard to give whatever discount they could find. They were very caring and they treated the pet like a family member and they were very sensitive to the fact that that's the way you feel about them so that's the way they treat. They really care about your pet as much as you do. They're not just shuffling you in and out.
