Description of Work: I took my laptop to PC Doctor for them to tell me why my computer was frozen. I later learned from another computer repair place (Uptech) that my hard drive had crashed. My computer was at PC Doctor for a week, and they still hadn't had a chance to look at it. I was worried because my dissertation was on the laptop, and I needed to know if my files could be recovered. When I called them after a week, they said they were busy and didn't know when they would have a chance to look at my computer. I picked my computer up from them and took it to Uptech. Uptech diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and recovered my files within four days.

We have reviewed [member name removed]'s service ticket. It appears her computer was here for a total of 5 days. This is on the long side of our repair times that we quote of 3 to 5 business days (we have a sign with this information on the counter). [Member name removed] was offered our rush service which she declined. When she called she should have been given a time when her pc was to be diagnosed. To here she was told we "were busy and didn't know when they would have a chance to look at my computer" is not very professional and we have addressed this issue with our staff. [Member name removed] picked up her computer on the 5th day and was not charged. [Member name removed] please except my apology. Description of Work: I brought my laptop in to get a new screen as mine had broken. After keeping it for 3 weeks it came back with a new top that didn't close correctly. I needed my pc for school so I kept it.
