Manicures/Nails
I went in on or around Feb. 4, 2014. A new employee (a young man) was going to do my nails. He started telling me that my overlays needed to be removed and new ones put on. I DID have some damage to one nail. In the past they always trimmed away the loose part of the overlay & repaired it. He wouldn't even try to repair it. He was very insistent & pushy. I kept telling him that the girls had always repaired them.
Then he said they would turn yellow. I told him I always wore color so it didn't matter to me if they were yellow. After I washed my hands I paid him and left without having my nails polished. He still charged me the full price but I was so upset I didn't say anything about it. I even gave him a tip which I shouldn't have done.
Yesterday I went back to have one of the regulars do my nails. I could see they were shorthanded. They only had 3 people
and one of them was doing pedicures. I was going to wait for the girl. I sat there for about 20 minutes. Another woman came in and she took her back immediately. I went to her and asked if she had forgotten I was waiting. She said she was putting her hands to soak. If she had told me I would have understood. Then she told me she had another woman to do before me. I left.
If it was going to take 45 minutes before they could start on me I would have appreciated her letting me know. I would have returned at a later time like I have done in the past.
In all the time I have been going to this shop I have never had a fungus or any other problem. I'm quiet and undemanding and I tip well. I believe they have forgotten how to keep customers.
