About us
Paul and Barbara Love started Love Irrigation March 1, 1981. Since then, the company has taken tremendous pride in the quality of products and services that we offer to our customers. Love Irrigation provides residential and commercial services to patrons in Jackson and surrounding areas. Free estimates for new installations are available to patrons in our surrounding area. We do charge a fee for repair estimates on existing systems; however, that fee will be credited to the invoice if you choose us to complete the repair.

Love Irrigation specializes in the installation, and MistAway mosquito systems. We provide lawn drainage solutions and also install, and certify backflow prevention devices. One of our more recent services we provide is installing and servicing string lighting for outdoor living areas and commercial properties such as outdoor shopping and dining. During the holidays, and repair of lawn irrigation, landscape lighting, repair, service, we will be happy to install your outdoor holiday lights.

The provider arrived on the job on the date promised but failed to give advance notice of the estimated time of arrival and therefore there was a delay in services actually beginning for at least 20 minutes or so until I could arrive. After that a couple of hours or so were spent attempting to locate the electrical wires and boxes. Apparently, the locating device that they were using was not functioning properly. After, the area of concern was finally located in the area where a leak repair and tree cut had been done by another vendor. It appeared that wires had been accidentally cut in that area. The location of the cut was found and repaired. Additionally, two other sprinkler heads were replaced.
We protested the bill because of the inordinate length of time spent finding the wires and the owner made a modest adjustment.
Approximately a week or so later, in the same area of the wire repair, a pipe came apart in the late evening or early morning causing a gushing of untold gallons of water. The vendor was called and a fews days later came and repaired that leak. The cause of the leak is undetermined. Both the gentlemen who repaired the earlier leak from tree roots and this vendor, worked in that precise area. The pipe appeared to be intact when it was uncovered by this vendor and it did not malfunction, apparently, until several days later.
As I, indicated above, I would use the vendor again.

Workmen completed project and cleaned up yard following, including raking the grooves so yard was level at treanches.
Explained the mechanics and made sure I was comfortable before they left.

The gardeners and installers were very competent and provided good advice when needed. Jerry was personally present most of the time the work was performed, and for the most part returned calls and came out promptly whenever we had concerns. There were several occasions when they didn't have the shrubs we planned and had to wait for a couple of weeks, but they were all eventually provided. A couple of them turned out to be the wrong color once they bloomed and Jerry had them replaced.
After the irrigation was installed, Jerry spent a lot of time explaining how to program the system and I think we have a really first class system. After the first season, we had a few spots that didn't get sufficient water coverage, and in late 2011 we added a couple of sprinkler heads and moved some of the installed sprinklers, and for the 2012 season it worked out very well.
If I had to do it over again, I would not skimp on the sprinkler heads, best to have too many than too few, you can always reduce the watering time, but it's important to get good coverage. I would also spend more time laying out the system using a CAD modeling tool to make sure the heads are optimally placed.
