CertaPro sales staff gave a professional, prompt estimate and were very responsive.  However, the actual painting took a week when it should have taken two days.   CertaPro did not send a crew, only one guy.  He did a great job technically, but even after my taking more than two days off work, the job still was not done.  Painter would say he was going to paint store but would be gone for 2-4 hours.  I did not appreciate being kept waiting by the painter or CertaPro not sending a crew rather than just one man, especially with some carpentry involved.  The house looks great, but the hassle factor was too much.

Service was excellent, all promises honored, crew did a super job with the prep, painting and clean up.  First rate contractor and crew, highly recommend them.  And I thought the pricing was fair.

Everything was perfect. Someone was sent to give an estimate. The next week the crew arrived when they were supposed to. The guys cleaned the exterior one day, came back to paint the next. One of the workers came to me and wanted to show me a problem. One of the columns on our front porch was totally rotted through at the bottom!! We hadn't noticed because it had been partially covered by a plant. We had someone come out and replace the column about two weeks later. Certapro sent two guys out to paint the column to match the rest of the house!! Now that is customer service! I will also say that we used CertaPro two years earlier to paint the entire interior of another home we owned. They fixed "dings" and nicks in all of the walls and painted them. They looked flawless! I definitely recommend them!

I contacted them thru Angie List and when they came to see if they could perform the job they where very professional Jeremy Shivers and Chad Joy both where super, and me being a retired MILITARY PERSON they gave me a 5% discount on their services.  The crew that showed today where very nice and hard working, their job they performed was short of outstanding, they even went out of their way to kill a chicken snake that had occupy a birds nest under my mothers carport, they killed it and hauled it away.  You see you do not get service like this these days, I would highly recommend them to others, and I will use their services in future for other things that need to be done by their company

They had equipment problems and ended up using my pro paint sprayer for much of the job. There are some holidays on one of the gable ends.

a   The painting and work was of good quality but the exterior cleanup was not very good.  Paint splatter is all over the brick front entry steps and bits of debris were left in the yard.  They were supposed to return to redo a ceiling sheetrock seam in the kitchen  but they have not nor have they returned my calls.

Certa Pro were prompt and professional.  Completed job within projected time estimates. Left jobsite clean at end of each workday and when job completed.  Returned for evaluation after job completed, to ensure my satisfaction

They did a good job painting, were very nice and clean.  I would recommend them, and use them again. 

Overall, I was happy with the job. The painting looks fantastic, and their bid was much more in-line than two exorbitant ones we received. He made me aware of an issue with the kind of paint used in the new construction of the house that affected the way they could come in behind and paint the cabinets. He was really informed and knowledgable. Communication was somewhat of an issue though during the actual job. The estimate was given to me by the owner/GM, but a supervisor actually oversaw the project. That's where some of the miscommunication came in. It was mostly issues mentioned below. The project also started and dragged on a little longer than was initially discussed and planned. They finished all the trim and walls, but it was the next week before they came to finish up the ceiling and clean up some areas where they had gotten paint on trim or ceramic tile. My two pet peeves I told him about before beginning the job were cleanliness while painting and making sure everything covered. I came into the house during the job three times. They had paint cans and items directly on my wood floors with no plastic down and did not cover everything while working such as the dressers, or the floors under where they were working. The quote also specified that they would remove all outlets, switchplates, etc before painting, and this detail work was even pointed out to me. They were only removed in one room though. The switchplates and outlet covers in the other rooms weren't taken out so we had paint on some of them that they had to remove at the end or that I had to go back later and remove myself. Again, overall they did a great job on painting. I would look at using them again, but would be very specific on my expectations concerning communication and the details.

There was a delay in getting started due to several days of rain and we are expecting two days of rain again this weekend. What had been done so far looks great. The only problem I had was that after they painted my front door and left for the day, they forgot to lock my front door. There were insulation installers working in the attic in my garage, but they were only responsible for locking the back door from the house to the garage. When the CertaPro painters left while the insulation installers were still working in the attic, they just assumed that the other guys would lock the front door. I felt they should have let the insulation guys know they were leaving and had left the front door unlocked. When I came home from work the first night they were painting, they had left several boards in my driveway. Because it was dark I couldn't see them clearly and ran over them with my car when I pulled into my driveway.

Overall, the job went extremely smoothly. The job ended up taking significantly longer than expected, but the quality of the repair and prep was excellent. They sprayed 2 coats of primer, spackled/puttied, and caulked everything smooth. The finish coats for the trim and windows were sprayed and the siding was brushed/rolled. My only complaint is that I felt they rushed a little toward the end and could have done a better job on the glazing/windows and final details/touch-up. Despite this, they definitely exceeded my expectations, and I felt the price was more than fair. They cleaned up well on a daily basis and seemed to be very reliable. I would certainly recommend CertaPro and would use them again.

Nice people to work with. Removed wall paper in kitchen, patched nail holes and repaired where necessary. Painted major living areas inside - excellent workmanship. They worked with me to get the color just right. It looks fantastic. Then we had them paint outside. They power washed, repaired and painted our stucco, trim, gutters, doors, chimney, under eaves, and downspouts. Workers were nice people, hardworking and responsive to requests. The house looks fantastic! I'd recommend them without hesitation. If I could put up a before and after picture you'd be amazed.

I had contracted another painter to do the work but due to scheduling problems and then an injury I could not wait the additional 5 weeks to get the job done as we are selling our house. I called another painter for an estimate but he did not show up on time and then did not call back. So I called CertaPro. Steve was very friendly on the phone and scheduled a meeting the next morning to give the estimate. He arrived early and I was pleased to see that his estimate was right on with the estimate of the original painter I had contracted. I was also happy to be getting a crew of workers compared to one single person. Steve went over in detail what work was to be performed and when it would be done. Eric and his crew were very professional and nice. They did a great job and I was very impressed with the cleanup. He did a final walk through with me to make sure I was satisfied with the job. During the job which took about 4 days Steve stopped by at least once a day to make sure everything was going well. Overall I was very pleased and would definitely call them again.
