The service was excellent, they took my car out and checked it, found nothing is wrong with my car, and they did not charge me for anything.

I am an older gentleman with a 2003 Malibu. Recently on May 13, 2013, I had work done on my car at your
shop because the and quot;Check Engineand quot; light kept coming on. It was
found that a vacuum hose to the PCV valve had broken and a wire to the engine
was causing the engine to have a and quot;miss.and quot; My technician
(RAL) recommended replacing the hose and a tune-up. Although the work was
$342.00, I am very pleased with the work and the engine just purrs. It sounds
better than when I purchased it and rides beautifully. Your mechanic is a jewel
and certainly seems to be excellently trained.

Their service is good. I am satisfied with the service. In the Madison location oil changes are very quick. The price is average.

Took my SUV in for its 90,000 mi. tune up and asked that they do the services outlined in the service manual (I gave them a list) plus anything else they felt needed work. I fully expected a significant bill since the brakes had never been replaced and I was sure they would do that and possibly turn the rotors as well. The other tune ups at 30,000 mi intervals had cost about $300- 350, so i was expecting $600- 700 with the brake work. When I picked the SUV up the bill was $983 plus tax before I got them to give me a discount- they said 10% was the max they'd do- and they did NOT do anything to my brakes at all. I called about the bill the next day after I had time to look it over. The most disturbing part was that they charged $14.99 for each spark plug (my SUV takes 16 plugs). They said that they had installed Autolite platinum XP plugs because the "book" called for them. The auto parts shop two blocks away told me the original parts called for were common copper plugs- not platinum- hence the need to replace at every 30,000 miles. I did not request platinum and at this point wouldn't be surprised if the plugs are not platinum, but I will soon find out. From what I see it appears that they more than double the price on parts from what anyone could buy them for at a retail auto parts shop.They also charge $80 an hour for labor, which seems extreme for work on a common American made vehicle. I won't go back- you shouldn't either.
