Great! I had contacted them through a chat service on their website on a Sunday afternoon. On Monday, Michelle called me and arranged to come out the next day. She surveyed the situation, told me what was needed, and sent me a professional quote within a week (in spite of being ill for most of that week). I told her it looked good and to get us on their schedule. She put us on the schedule for the week of June 19. She and her supervisor Jeff came back out and looked over the property on Saturday the 17th. The crew showed up on the 20th and despite all the rain we had that week were able to get the job done in a week. It was a very big job.

My husband (who has an extensive background in construction and drainage) determined immediately that they had not followed the original agreement to include drainage in the structure. They first told us that this was not part of the agreement. After hours of debate with the home office - and reminders of previous emails specifically discussing the drainage - they went back to add the drainage. At no time did they actually admit their mistake - just conceded to a "design change." It was not a change - they failed to include it in the original paper work.
After another day of work, they disappeared for several days, stating they had other jobs - but would return. On the the final day, the small crew spent more time sitting than working and proceeded to throw cross ties on the structure in a haphazard way with no attention to form. Small pieces were thrown in at arbitrary places, the main posts were not even touching the wall with large gaps, they threw dirt in places to cover the lack of gravel for drainage, and cut one support post so low - there would be nothing there to support the finishing levels. They then left for the day on a Friday at 3:00 pm.
My husband made phone calls and sent several emails letting them know of the errors they had made. they sent us back a email stating that we had 2 choices. We could allow them to finish the wall - as is - or we could pay them 70% of the final cost and they would take all equipment and leave the project.
That Sunday night - there was a torrential down pour- flooding the driveway with mud as a result of the unfinished job. (We had just had a solid week of sun.) On Monday, a member of the company came by to see what we had decided - and when he saw what a horrible job the crew had done, he told us there was no way they would correct this, but in light of how poorly the work was, we would not receive a bill. We were left with the mess.
Now we have a driveway with a mountain of mud that spreads out everywhere every time it rains and probably wont be able to get another company out here for months. We have no use of our driveway or garage. Our drains are already clogged with mud.
Several contractors have come out to survey the job and provide an estimate. In all three cases - they could not believe how incompetent the crew was - how poorly the wall had been constructed and the obvious steps that had been eliminated.  The company will undoubtedly respond to this review (as they did another reviewer with the same problem) They will tell you that we changed the design after the project began. We did not - it was a necessary part that was communicated from the beginning with email communication to document negotiations. They will tell you that the structure they were building was sufficient and would stand over the coming years.  After the first rain - it was already failing and I wish I could post pictures to show what mess it was.
Bottom line - this is the second review being provided with the exact same complaint. Poor work, no responsibility for their mistakes and ultimately being left with a mess for us or another contractor to fix. I cant explain the other good reviews. Perhaps they have more than one crew - but it you get stuck with the B crew as we did, as well as the other reviewer, the money, time and absolute frustration will go on for months. Save yourself.

It went well. They arrived promptly at each and every appointment. At the end if each day, I received updates detailing the remaining stages in the project. The yard and patio were returned to the their original state when the job was finished.

When I purchased my house, I did not realize I had a major drainage problem until we had a hard rain and water flooded my garage. After several hard rains and wading to my car in the garage, I got 3 quotes to fix the problem. When Michelle came to my house, she spent a considerable amount of time with me discussing various options to repair the problem. The previous quotes I had obtained were several thousand dollars ($5800) and one even required work that would kill a big pine tree in my back yard (which would require more money to remove). Michelle was very patient with me as she explained the work and came up with a solution to fix the problem that was less than half of the cost of my highest estimate. While she was at my house, she looked at all of my exterior foundation concerns and gave me advice on what I needed to do to help prevent future foundation problems. The guys that came to do the work were just as nice and very professional. They had to remove some concrete from my driveway, place pipes, and then repour the concrete on my driveway. They also had to do some trench work in the back yard. When they finished, my yard was neat and clean without any debris left and the work looked very professionally done. I could not have been more pleased. The best part is that when we now have a hard rain, my garage is completely dry and I don't have to wade to my car.
When I sold my house, the buyers were concerned about the drainage problem and the work that had been done that I had disclosed. I called Michelle. Once again, she was very nice and professional. She seemed to be more than happy to help me. In addition to emailing me a detailed list of the work they had performed to give the buyer, she met the buyers at the house and explained the drainage work and even looked at the foundation with them.
I am very happy with the service and the work. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. They were excellent during and after the work they did for me.

We recently purchased an older home. Our inspector missed some foundation issues. We noticed the brick on the east wall was moving outward at the roof/soffit area. Later that day, I discovered a mudbug crawling out of a crack in the porch. We called Michelle at Absolute foundations. She arrived on time and began taking measurements and made assessments. There was a 20' x 5' hole under the concrete porch. It was 3' deep in places.  She used the measuring devices twice and discovered the house had moved (sank) and was still moving.
We called several other foundation repair companies and based on the professionalism of Michelle, we went with her. We were completely satisfied. The porch was secured and jacked and the slurry was pumped. They also repaired the french drain system all the way into the back yard.  We had requested to have a small concrete area poured as well for our hose reel.
We are very satisfied with the work.  Thanks!

I contacted Absolute Foundation Solutions based on a friends recommendation.  They came out promptly on the day of our appointment and were clean and nice.  I also contacted two other contractors for additional quotes.  Absolute Foundation was not the cheapest but i felt more comfortable with them.  On the day the workers came out i was amazed at the steps they too to ensure that my yard stayed clean.  When they started the lifting process there was someone on site to monitor my house the entire time.  Before they left my property they did an excellent job  of cleaning up.  You almost cant tell they did anything other than the level house.

We hired Absolute Foundation Solutions to assist us. They had been recommended by someone we knew. Michelle arrived to our home, looked things over and measured our home to see the damage and how much our foundation had fallen. She said they would have to dig 9 holes to drop supports to lift our home. She also gave us a price for 5 holes and advised us about our car port foundation problem as well. They ended up doing all of it and the cost was going to be $10,200. They advised the process and advised that cracks that would appear inside would settle back in after the foundation was complete. They advised they would clean up the exterior when they were done. When they finished we were left with more cracks in the drywall than before they began. They dug up red dirt from I don't know where and left piles of it everywhere. It was piled beside a brick ledge, thinking it was out of site I guess. The windows are still not fitting and will now need to be replaced. I have called them again but now, since they've already been paid I guess, they're not as nice, professional or eager to help anymore. I don't know what to do. We still have probelms and my poor husband (and we're seniors) has to try and clean up their mess on his own. This is very stressful and expensive and we've been left with empty promises. I called Michelle and she said she would come back last week to see what we're talking about... but she didn't show up. I decided to call Angie's List.
Response from Absolute Foundation Solutions, Inc
"Our company dealt with this lady's husband regarding the details of the project as she was ill and confused frequently. Regarding the dirt, he requested that we leave it on the property for him to fill in some holes in the yard. My guys did part of it for him as a courtesy. We did compact soil around the footing to seal it and create the proper grade for water to flow away from the home. A particular area was severely eroded due to a lack of gutters and required quite a bit to restore support to the area and slope it. The lady told me that she wanted it moved and I explained as well as possible that it was required for the stability of the footing and if it was moved the warranty would be voided. The preexisting cracks in the drywall closed somewhat but not completely. We worked on an 'L' of the home where movement has occurred due to erosion. The rest of the house was less that 1" out of level, and as perfect a 10 year old house we had ever seen. We returned to the home on at least three occasions to pacify the gentleman's wife, never finding anything that needed to be changed, and finally had to deal only with him. On our initial visit, she told is she could see the walls moving during the day. A few weeks after the project was completed, the lady called to say the house was moving. I went personally to take elevations and they were precisely as we had left them. I later called the husband and asked if he had anything that he wanted us to take care of or anything that he was displeased with, and he responded that he was thrilled and thank us for our respectful treatment of his wife given the circumstances."
