Customers say: Quick response

"Absolute professional and perfectionist! She cleaned areas of my house that I didn t even know existed! When you find a person that removes the light bulbs from the lamps so the glass fixtures can be cleaned better, you stay with them! I would give 10 stars if that was an option!"

"Completely professional and exceptional customer service. The guys came out the same day we called and assessed the issue we had. The very next morning they arrived with all materials to do a complete system install. The guys didn't leave until the job was done. Cleaned up so well you wouldn't have known they were even here. AKM is top notch. You're not going to find a better company with amazing prices, work ethic, and customer service. We are super satisfied!"

"This is our second time using Mr. Adams to clean out our dryer vent duct that runs down under the ground and then back up out the side of house (shame on the person who installed it this way). Anyway, Mr. Adams explained to us that due to this setup that we will need to have it cleaned yearly. He is always prompt and courteous."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

A small amount of diluted bleach is okay to pour down a garbage disposal. As part of your weekly garbage disposal maintenance, use 1 teaspoon of bleach with your concoction of ice cubes and lemon peels. Turn on the disposal and run the water until the blades chop up the ice cubes.

Any more bleach in your disposal can harden oils and greases in your drain, which can cause problems. Always wear gloves when working with bleach, and know that you really don’t need bleach at all—vinegar, baking soda, salt, and ice should do the trick.

Enjoy a pristine home without the hassle, as professionals provide thorough, efficient cleaning tailored to your preferences.

Bleach isn’t the best choice to use while cleaning a refrigerator. Food absorbs odors, and bleach is known for its lingering smell, which can then lead to your fresh foods tasting off. Most people don’t safely dilute bleach, either. If you’re concerned about bacteria or mold from contaminated food, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends using a bleach solution of 1 tablespoon of bleach to 1 gallon of water for sanitizing. Be sure to let the fridge air out for an hour or more afterward to let the fumes dissipate.

Homeowners can perform basic cleanup, but for efficient and thorough results, larger-scale or thorough cleaning may be best left to professionals.

Regular vacuuming, prompt stain treatment, applying protective sprays, and keeping pets off furniture help maintain appearance. Using blinds to shield from direct sunlight prevents fabric fading.
