"We are profoundly sorry that Mr. David and Mrs. Tammi are disgruntled, but unfortunately, that is the outcome in the rare event that you have to file a lien on a property. Our company worked with Simple Mortgage Solutions, the contractor is Mr. Allen in Knoxville, TN. conferred with the builder and he welcomes any calls about our quality workmanship. We have built many houses with Simple Mortgage Solutions. His number is (228) 547-8164 he is also easily located on the web. Our company was hired by Mr. Allen. We completed the Hardie Siding, the porch ceilings, painting the entire structure, and building of decks and platforms with no issue. We had to complete the roof and the custom-built handrails that were requested. We went for 3 whole months without any payment. We ultimately had no choice, but to file a lien in the amount of $25,370.21 for work completed and not paid. We are a smaller company, so could not afford to put any more money into a project with no payment date solidified. This is public information, which we are entitled to share. The Lien was filed in Harrison County, MS. The Instrument Numbers are 2022-0028008-G-J1 and 2002-0029146-G-J1. We filed a lien release on 12-15-2022, which again is a matter of public record. The lien was satisfied, which implies that the homeowner agrees that the monies were owed. We did not go back and finish as filing a lien is a last resort and not something that we endeavor to do to anyone. We cannot blame Mr. David and Mrs. Tammi for being upset at the lien filing, but they eventually paid. We just wanted to provide the truth to our loyal customers and give anyone the opportunity to gain the facts as they are recorded. We have no ill intent and even sent the couple a Christmas card. We are a customer service-oriented business and will never engage in personal attacks, but feel we are obligated to share the truth. Please reach out to Mr. Allen to verify our rebuttal. We thank you all and know that if you give us an opportunity, then like most customers, will choose us to complete the whole project as in this case we did most of the custom work. Most Sincerely, The Gulf Guttering Team."
"Mr. Lombard has since contacted our company and acknowledged he was in error. We completed his project to his complete satisfaction and he gave us high praises for our workmanship and professionalism. Subsequently, he had other projects on his gable that were out of our area of expertise; therefore, we searched and found 3 potential Home Improvement Specialists that could possibly help him complete all work as a professional courtesy. Mr. Lombard assumed that these referrals were somehow affiliated with our company and once he realized his mistake, he informed us of his difficulties with these other contractors. We again provided Mr. Lom"
