Serviceman came the day before and thought motor was defective. He returned the next day with a new motor, and when he got the case fully open to install it, he discovered the handkerchief.
He could easily have sold me a new motor so I applaud his honesty. He was pleasant and punctual. I would use them again.

Missy called me back the same day and scheduled me for the following day. 
She asked me to describe my problem and asked for the model # of the machine
so they could try to have the parts when they got there, but unfortunately, the model#
was worn off the machine's tag. 
After Jeff put the belt back on, he said he could leave and go get a new belt, but he showed me
where the grease was coming out of the bearings which was causing it to slip off
and advised I would need to fix that or it would happen again.  He was
also honest enough to advise buying a new machine as opposed to pouring
money into this one as the transmission probably won't last much longer
either.  He only charged me for half-an-hour as well.  I would highly
recommend Jeff and his dad at Metro Appliance Svc.  as they seem to run a
knowledgeable and honest business.

We liked him and he did a good job. His son came in first and seemed irritated about being there. We probably wouldn't have hired him, so the father came himself and we really liked him.

Provider was able to provide the service the day I called him. He was able to replace the clock with no problem. He was friendly and polite.

This was one of the best repair experiences I have had! I called and left a message for James, he returned my call, set up an appointment time and arrived as promised. He repaired the oven except for the element that had yo be ordered and did not want payment until the element came in. The work was completed quickly .

Overall, very good. It took a couple of days to hear back from my voice mail, to set up an appt. Provider is very friendly...I suspect it's a one-man company. Had oven fixed in a matter of minutes, but would not accept payment until he was sure it was fixed. He gave us his cell number so we could call him if needed. Several weeks later, we received the bill, which I thought was a little bit high. I'd definately use him again, if needed. He took good care of our floor and was respectful of our dog and property.

Great, it had been done by another co in February and it broke already. I know with them it will stay fixed. I have used them before and have never been disappointed. Here on time, nice, and knowledgeable. They're in the process of fixing my oven right now, after another company fix didn't last. I will use them from now on and regret not calling them the 1st time!

The refrigerator had failed to cool the night before. Found Metro Appliance Service on Angie's List (not the top entry, but well recommended) and called first thing the next morning. Got the owner on line and set a time for service. James arrived as promised and repaired the unit completely and professionally.

I discovered the frig wasn't cooling first thing that morning. I called my home warranty company who contacted Metro to set up a service call. I received a call from Metro within a couple of hours. I spoke with the service tech about what the frig was and wasn't doing. He was able to determine it would be one of two problems. He was at the house within 30 minutes of our conversation with the proper parts. He fixed the compressor within 20 minutes. He was very professional, courteous, and prompt. He also made handling the home warranty paperwork very easy. My cost through the home warranty company was just the amount of my co-pay. However, I highly recommend this company to anyone and will gladly use them again with future appliance issues, whether through my home warranty company or not.

There was nothing I disliked. They are very punctual and professional. I used them in conjunction with the insurance on my house; the paperwork was easy to handle and the repairs were awesome. I have used them for years and will use them again in the future.
