We Purchased laminate flooring throughout our home except for bedrooms, after a water pipe broke. This was an insurance claim. Also, we had the vendor carpet our master bedroom at the same time. Immediately after installation there began to be gaps in the flooring between joints and raised areas between planks. After numerous calls and complaints Mr. Ammann the owner of Quality Flooring of Oxford, sent his installation crew back out and they removed two rows of flooring and cut approximately 1" off of the edge to supposedly relieve the pressure that was causing the defects. It did not improve the problem at all. Mr. Ammann had the distributor come out on two occassions and take pictures to send to Armstrong Flooring. Armstrong Flooring ruled that this was a site preperation and or an installation problem that resulted in the flooring gaps and raised planks. They further stated that a tapping block had been used during the installation and that was another reason for the problems with my floor. I submitted a complaint with the BBB of Mississippi and they contacted Quality Flooring of Oxford and Mr. Ammann refused to answer their complaint. I have the e-mails from the BBB to substantiate this complaint. The BBB dropped the complaint due to Mr. Ammann's non compliance. If Qulaity Flooring of Oxford is making any of the repairs to the Pine Flat area of our community, after the recent Tornado damage, they need to be monitored closely. They advertise a lifetime warranty on their business cards and they have done nothing but lie and misrepresent themselves since this purchase was made. I highly suggest that the Buyer Beware!!!!!! They are not honest nor trust worthy. I have repaeatedly tried to get them to make the problem right and they refuse to do anything. The public needs to be made aware of the caliber of person and company that Quality Flooring of Oxford is. I can not afford to replace the inferior flooring job that they did in our home so we are forced to live with it, due to their inaction. Again BUYER BEWARE of Qulaity Flooring of Oxford.
Description of Work: We Purchased laminate flooring throughout our home except for bedrooms, after a water pipe broke. This was an insurance claim. Also, we had the vendor carpet our master bedroom at the same time. We wanted engineered hardwood but the owner of Quality Flooring of Oxford, Mr. Christopher Ammann, talked us out of it since we have pets, he said that pets would scratch engineered hardwood but would not scratch laminate, so we went with laminate, BAD MISTAKE!
