I've been to this shop several times in the past, most recently to get the battery cables replaced, and to change the guard on the under-side of the engine. On all instances, they've given me accurate estimates of costs and time it will take for the repair. Typically I drop my car off in the morning and collect it in the afternoon. I've always been charged low prices and provided great service. Keep it up Brannan.

I took the car in without an appointment about 9:30 am and mentioned all the things I wanted done. The owner wrote down everything and told me that he expected everything to be completed before the end of the day. At 3:30 pm I received a call that the work was completed and I went there about 4:00 pm and picked up the car. I inspected the work and it had all be completed as requested. I was not charged for the replacement of the brake light.
I have used this business for many auto repairs and have found them to be very straightforward and matter of fact. They are very prompt and the prices are very competitive with others in the area. I will continue to use them.

I went to Brannan for oil changes for a couple of years until I needed one last minute and they were booked. I took my car to another mechanic, and the same service was MUCH less expensive so I switched mechanics to save money.

Went great. They contacted me on Monday and said that the cost would be between $500 and $1000 depending on what they found when the tore it down. Then, called me the next day and said it was ready and the price was $516. Very professional and prompt. I would recommend Brannan's to anyone.

I have stopped at Brannan on two separate occasions. The first time looking to get an estimate for struts. They do not do struts on vehicles. I can respect that and they did suggest where to take my vehicle.
I stopped a second time to ask about having my car checked for a water pump leak. They asked me to bring my car back some time next week (I stopped on a Friday afternoon). I wanted to make an appointment but they just said to bring it back next week. I do not have time to just "stop in". I am new in town and have one vehicle to get me to work, I need to have either an appointment or immediate service (or reasonable wait time) when I stop in.
I do understand that immediate service is not always possible but an appointment can be arrainged. I guess I feel that they didn't do everything they could to assist me.

I answered that I would use this company again but it will not be the first place that I stop. I would go there if I feel that another estimate is needed.

I dropped it off at 8:10am on a Friday and didn't expect to see it till the weekend was over. They were going to take me back into town (it is a few minutes north of Oxford) but a guy who stopped in to talk to the owner offered to drop me off if I wanted to go ahead with him. They called back at about 1pm to let me know the car was fixed and ready. I got a ride back out there and they said that they cleaned out the throttle body and some of the lines and that cleared up the problem. They spent about $7 on parts (cleaner I think) and $80 on labor. He said that the throttle and lines were just "gunked" up and I should use some of the fuel line cleaner every so often. They said they could have replaced the throttle, but it probably would be fine with just a good cleaning. I was happy to get out with under $100 spent and with the problem fixed (and the same day too). The owner is pretty laconic, but if you ask questions he's happy to fill you in on whatever you need to know.
