We originally called Tim DiSalvo who has a remodeling business but our job was too small a project for him so he sent his brother Jimmy and his dad Jim Disalvo. They originally represented themselves as working for Tim but we found out they were working on their own but since they were sent by Tim (who was highly recommended) we thought it would be ok. We had had a number of contractors over to look at the bathroom and asked for ideas and cost. None of them seemed to know what they were doing but Jimmy and his Dad did seem to understand so we hired them. We were promised it would take 3 weeks from start to finish. We offered our garage as a place to store whatever they needed so they could get everything in advance to make sure we stayed on time. Time and quality were the most important issues to us. To make a long story short it took 11 weeks. This was not caused by any unforseen problem, it was caused by sub-contractors not being scheduled, not showing up, refusing to work until they were paid by Jimmy and when they did work some of the sub-contractors work was really bad and had to be redone. We were promised that Jimmy or his Dad would be there every day to check the work. We only saw Jim (the Dad) once and we rarely saw Jimmy unless it was time to get more money. My husband did most of the quality control work and I did most of the clean up. We still need some minor work on the plumbing but the plumber does not want to come because he has not been paid by Jimmy. The end product is fine but the aggravation was not worth it. Nothing ever happened as planned, phone calls weren't returned and the list goes on. I would never use them again and I do not recommend them.
