Guaranteed Plumbing Service

I called the company to report that my hall toilet wouldn't flush after one of my children apparently put a toy into it. The plumbers were nice and came out that afternoon to fix it. They removed the toilet, extracted the toy, and re-set it. The toilet would then flush, though only a small amount of water would come back into the bowl after each flush. That evening, the first time something other than urine was flushed, the toilet again stopped up. The office was closed and there was no one on call. The next day they came back out, and my nanny was home with my children. She reported that they stayed less than 10 minutes and they claimed they had fixed it. Again, it was flushing but not in the usual manner. The following afternoon, on Friday, when one of my children had a bowel movement, the toilet again stopped up and began overflowing. I called the office, and there was again no one on call for the evening or the entire weekend. We had to live with a toilet filled with excrement in our hallway bathroom for the entire weekend. My husband left a message on the answering machine at the office to please return our calls as soon as possible on Monday morning. Monday around lunch time, we still had no return call. I called the office, and the and quot;managerand quot; (AKA the plumber's mom) told me they were busy with other customers and she would call me back that afternoon. No call Monday afternoon or evening. When I called again Tuesday morning, I was told they were just going to replace the toilet, which would be several hundred dollars on top of the $155 she claimed I already owed them for unsuccessfully attempting to resolve the problem. I hired a new plumber, and I called the office back to inform the and quot;managerand quot; that their services were no longer needed. When she asked what the problem was (like she couldn't have figured it out), after I started explaining she got rude. She told me that they never advertise to work evenings or weekends. I understand that, but I would think that a job you already botched would take precedence over a new job. Then she had the audacity to tell me I still owed them for the first two visits! Additionally, the new plumber that came fixed the problem in about an hour (without replacing the toilet) for less than Guaranteed Plumbing was going to charge me for not fixing it! I will never use them again, even if we are up to our ankles in toilet water.

Left a message over the weekend asking them to call me Monday morning. They called by 9 a.m. and arrived shortly after lunch. Found the leak and had it repaired within 3 hours. Got the bill about 10 days later after giving me time to ensure the fix didn't leak. I feel the cost was reasonable considering the time it took to find and repair the leak. I will call them again should I need a good plumbing service.

They came out quickly and promptly. They completed the work efficiently. They did a great job.
