My family and I are fairly new to the area. We were going on vacation in June and I needed to find someone to take care of my pets for a week. Boarding them in a kennel would be more expensive and then one risks the animals being exposed to diseases or upset. So I started calling around the entire Coast area and eventually was referred to a lady only 5 miles from where I was located. That was extremely important, as gas prices were peaking and businesses were starting to tack on surcharges because of the cost of gas. Carol came the day after I called to meet me and present me with a notebook of pictures of her animals, testimonials of customers that she used, her prices, etc. She appeared very professional and was very nice. Ultimately, she and her assistant did exactly what they said they would do: they took excellent care of the animals(they obviously care about animals), they turned lights on and off, they picked up the mail. They did everything I was hoping for and more. All this for $16 per trip or $48 per day. It would have cost me $60/day for 3 dogs at a kennel. It would cost even more for the additional care of my cat and my fish, the mail pickup, monitoring the house, etc. I couldn't have asked for better service and better value!
