BAY PEST CONTROL

Price was competitive , with a lot of "bang for the buck" . Termite infestation treatment was more invasive than Terminix had to offer and for less money.

We were having some remodeling done and the workers discovered some termites around the one door. I called a couple of other companies explaining that we needed the door frame treated immediately so the workers could put the new door in. Of course all the companies wanted whole house contracts which I understood and we knew we had to treat the whole house but wanted the door done right away. The other companies wouldn't make promises. Bay Pest Control came right out! The technician treated the door and then we scheduled the remaining treatments for the next week. He did a great job. They treated the whole house and while we did have to spend 1200.00 initially it is really much less than some of the other companies. It's only 150.00 a year after that. The 1200.00 covered drilling treatment holes around the entire foundation, digging a trench around the house and I'm not sure what else. But he worked all day. And if we see anything during the year follow up treatments are free. Next year we'll pay 150.00 for the year. They guarantee their service and guarantee our house to remain termite free. I would highly recommend this company.

They come out every three or four months. I have been using them for numerous years. The price is a bit high. It has doubled over the years, it used to be around $45 to $50 and it's gone up to $80.

We still had fleas 2 months later and decided to switch to a name brand company (who were able to treat the fleas effectively in 1-2 treatments and charged considerably less.)
We had been instructed by Bay Pest Control not to vacuum for 2 weeks following each treatment. This probably did not help the situation and possibly made it worse - we learned later that vacuuming daily when treating a house for fleas is one of the best measures to take!
We had several phone conversations with Bay Pest Control during which we had to and quot;convinceand quot; them that we still did, in fact, have fleas and they needed to return for additional treatments.
We repeatedly requested Bay Pest Control to treat the outside of the house as well as the inside and they never did.
