Affordable Quality Air Cond

The original installation went great. The unit was put in successfully and was working wonderfully. Unfortunately after about a year it began acting up and was not working properly. We called Mr. Gary from Affordable Quality Air and he fixed the problem. However, we began having issues again about 2 months ago and it felt as if we had no ac in our house at all. We noticed that our outside unit had frozen over and called Mr. Gary to come look at it, but he could not come until a day or two later, which was fine. He came out to our house and said he looked over things and nothing seemed to be wrong and that he couldn't do anything to help unless the unit was frozen while he was there; which at this point it had thawed out because we turned the air off in order to do so. He said to have our ducts checked and left. The unit froze up again a day later and the air stopped working again. We turned the unit off and the inside unit began leaking water as if it was thawing out too. So much water that it was all in our hallway. After letting it thaw out our has started working again and we can actually feel it. However, our hallways unit is still continuously leaking water. A lot of it and it probably won't be long until it stops again. We called Mr. Gary and asked him to please come out again to check it out. He stated that we were too far away to just drive over and check it and that the service warranty was up so he did not owe us any service. We called again and told him he needed to come out because something is obviously wrong and he proceeded to tell us that his service was not under warranty, he was not coming to our house to help and then upon us telling him we would take action if he did not try to make this situation right (i.e. A negative review) he told us to go ahead. I find this behavior extremely unprofessional no matter what the circumstance warranty or not. However, Mr. Gary was very much wrong in assuming that our 2 year service warranty was up because it in fact does not expire until 09/28/18 which is not for almost 2 months (we still have our signed contract with the dates included). Now we will be paying more money out of our pockets to get someone else to come assess the situation whenever we should be having it done for just a service fee. Unfortunately the good service that we first received is being overshadowed by the poor service and treatment we have recently received.

He came the same day I called. He went right to work. He told me my A/C was on its last legs. The compressor was going out. Bu he got it working again. So I have a few days to get some window units.

I am very pleased with the service.

It went well. We were going to pay for more freon, but he was honest and up front and told us we pretty much needed a new system. He gave us a couple of days to think about it and meanwhile held our check. He did not cash the check for the freon and instead just charged us for replacing the unit. They were in and out and cleaned up behind himself. Overall I appreciated his honesty he was not trying to rip us off. He's also retired Air Force so that was a plus for me. I don't remember the exact date of service, it was some time then end of May beginning of June.

This man is one of the most honest businessmen I have ever dealt with.  Our A/C went out on a holiday weekend, and he came out within two hours.  He could have told us anything, and we would not have known the difference.  His fee was minimal.  On a scale of one to ten, He is a ten and then some.  I would recommend him to anyone!

He did a fantastic job. He was prompt, courteous, and extremely fair with the pricing on the new unit. He is easily my new air conditioning specialist!

After getting a very pricey quote from another company we decided to try Affordable Quality Air. They responded very promptly, did all of the work for a very reasonable (much lower than the other company quoted) and the work they did was fantastic. Our air is working like a charm now. Definitely recommend Affordable Quality Air for all of your ac needs!

They arrived the same morning I called and diagnosed the problem as a broken thermostat. They replaced it with another thermostat which they had. They were efficient and professional.

Gerald was amazing. He arrived at my home within 15 minutes of me calling him. He came right in asked me what was the problem and went out side and fixed the problem. He did not charge me by the hour and he was honest. I will definitely use him again. Fast, quick and to the point. He did not beat around the bush.

Very professional.  Tenants told me about the AC going out in condo which was the second time this summer.  Earlier this summer had another company recharge unit for a very high fee.  A month later when tenants called I realized leak was worse than expected so went looking for another AC repairperson.  Found Affordable Quality on Angies list and the work was done that very next day.  Did not see Gary in person but tenants told me he was very professional and seemed to perform a quality job.  Honored 5% discount from Angies list which was a significant amount on such a big job.  Would recommend to anyone needing a good AC repairman.

This company is very responsive. They arrived at my home the same day I contacted them. The unit was old and in need of replacement. An appointment was scheduled early the following week, at my convenience.. They arrived, as scheduled, and completed the replacement quickly. The quoted price was very reasonable and the work was well done. I would highly recommend this company.

Gary was great and responded within an hour. Water was running from unit into garage! All is dry again.

Within an hour of calling, the dad was here to give me a quote and his
his sons were here to install the system within about 12 hours. They
were friendly and professional.  I highly, HIGHLY recommend this company.  What a team!
