"Yeah so we have ants so" Oct 2nd, 2020, I went by FRANKS CHEVROLET in Kosciusko, MS. and bought a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4. I got that 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Friday the 2nd of October; I was driving it home and noticed an ant on the dashboard. Did not think much about it it is just an ant. Had a Bday party the 3rd Saturday for my Nephew. I am loading up my sons and getting in the Jeep when I notice a bunch of ants on the car seat when I was about to put my 2-year-old in it. I immediately take him out of the vehicle and see that they are tons of ant all over it. Not just small little black any but FIRE ANTS everywhere. I am livid just all bent out of shape. I just spent $20K on a Jeep Grand Cherokee full of ants, say what!!!! I called and left a message to the owner Tommy Franks upset and did not even get a call back at all Monday. I call my salesman the following Monday he says no problem David I will come and get it and we will go through it and get all the ants out and bring it back to you. He did later that day which was great saying on the phone when he called saying we went all through it and did our best to get them all out. He said David we did our best and said you may see one or two, but we got them all and may take a little to get the remaining ones out. When I bought the Jeep I asked them to put a hitch on the back, they said they would and that they would have to order it and would have to come back the next week or so to have it put on. I had to make a business trip for a few days up north. The following week as I was driving back on Friday, I noticed a few more ants and had to kill one climbing up my leg, omgosh more ants on the dashboard and climbing up my leg. While I was on the trip the check engine light came on and having a warranty, they were going to need to check that out while it was there for the hitch. I took it thereon there on the 22nd to have the hitch put on have the EGR valve fixed and said guys pls get the ants out on it. I cannot have my 2-year-old son in there with ants possibly biting him. They had it from the 22nd til the 29th. An entire week to install the hitch, fix the engine issue and get the ants out. Spoke with Keith that day of the 29th and he said look man we got em you should not see any more but if you do pls let him know. He even said that he told the shop to get the ants out to do all they can to get those ants out as we cannot have ants in his Jeep. I left Franks to get an oil change at the express lube there in Kosciusko. The oil change guy said wow you have quite an ant buildup somewhere behind the radiator as they are walking across the radiator hose. I looked and sure enough there are ants walking back and forth even carrying ant eggs like they own the place all over it. I get back in the Jeep drive over to Franks am upset yet again they have had it for a full day to get the ants taken care of that did not happen. They had it for another week to take care of the problem and they still did not get them out. I walked into the dealership; I see a guy that says can I help you. I said I need to see Keith and the manager whoever is in charge. Guys says I am in charge what can I do for you. I say I need to speak to you both he says well tell me what the problem is. He has some children around him and I begin telling him about my issue saying I bought this Jeep and spent a lot of money on a vehicle full of ants I don’t feel that is a good deal. I said I called you and left a message that obviously you were not concerned about as you never called me back. I said how I went to put my 2-year-old in it the day after I bought it and his car seat was full of ants. I said are these your children he said they are his grandchildren I asked him how he would feel if he was about to put one in the car seat of the vehicle he just bought here and it was full of ants. He stood up and walked toward the front door as I was asking him what were they going to do about the ants he said “Yeah we got ants so, saying I am not going to do anything about it I am done talking to you and you need to leave” I was astounded this guy owns a dealership and doesn’t care what so ever about my issue nor that I will have a 2 year old in a vehicle full of ants that they sold me. So I guess I am a proud owner of a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a FIRE ANT problem that after 2 trips to the dealership to get rid of them and the owner TOMMY FRANKS says “YEAH WE HAVE ANTS SO” I should be happy with it right? Would you be happy with that? Would you like to spend all your hard-earned money on a vehicle from FRANKS CHEVROLET in KOSCIUSKO, MS. to have it full of FIRE ANTS? is there a minus rating for terrible service? There oughta be!
