My Dad is elderly and I called the company and asked about what time the deliveryman would be in the area delivering gas. The receptionist who was taking the order did not know, but did say he would be 'running his route.'
I asked that the deliveryman not come after dark. I asked that he call before he showed up so my Dad would be aware of him around the house. She indicated that she would put the request down.
The receptionist said she put the request on the ticket to the deliveryman. There was no call, however he did show up this morning and not after dark in the evening like last time.
When I called the receptionist back asking why there was no call, she stated that all she could do is write the request down. She was powerless. She did not seem to think my request was relevant or reasonable. She had a very dismissive attitude.
The Driver was, according to my Dad helpful and courteous.
We will definitely be looking for a new gas company before cold weather hits again. I do not like dealing with the office staff.
