I have taken my dog to Lucky Dog Retreat several times over the past two years, and have always had a wonderful experience. I can contact them by phone, web, or Facebook. www.luckydogretreatmeridian.com
Most recently, I boarded two of my dogs with Lucky Dog for 4 days. The kennels are very clean--no smell at all! They are walked, played with and cared for extremely well. The runs have indoor/outdoor access for the dogs and my dogs can stay in the same run; since my two are very bonded this was important. There are security cameras so that they can monitor what's going on in various areas of the boarding facility, also.
I highly recommend this boarding kennel to anyone, but especially to those with dogs who need a bit of freedom and exercise every day. My dogs, a shepherd mix and pointer mix, are high-energy and in the 45 pound range, so this is perfect for them. The best part of all is that when 'the girls' come home they are not wild with pent-up energy! The are excited to see me, but settle back into normal routine very quickly.
