Over the phone I asked if they were able to install a whole house water filter. I was assured they could. When the plumbers arrived, two men came, and they thought they were installing a filter on the ice maker in the kitchen refrigerator. Not even close. Well, they couldn't figure out how to install the filter, so they ended up wandering back and forth from their truck to my house for an hour and then declared that they didn't know what to do. They asked if they could keep the installation instructions that came with the filter unit so they could discuss it with the other plumbers at their company and call to reschedule. I let them take the instructions and I never heard from the company again. I didn't pay them anything and they didn't give me a bill...unless there's one coming in the mail, which there better not be!
