Boats
I dropped my ski boat off to be fixed sometime in mid April. The guy there asked what the problem was, and I told him it was stalling out frequently while running. I also told him all the parts I replaced while trying to find the problem. I also told him I drained the fuel tank and fuel lines to rule out bad fuel. Well...after a week I called to check on it. They hadn't started on it yet. Another week and a half went by and they still didn't have it in the shop yet. Finally I called and they said they had it apart and told me I might need a new carburetor. The guy said to give him a call later that day and he would check and see if he could find another carb to fit. Well I wasn't able to call back that day so I called around 10 or 11 am the following day. He says to me " Were you able to find one?"......I'm thinking, "Really! Really! You are expecting ME to find my own parts?...Thats why I brought it to you!!!" Well, anyway, I told him I didn't have time to look for it! After this he said he might have some parts to fix it there at his shop. I said OK. So all together a month had passed while they SAY they were working on it. I finally called one day and asked if it was fixed. He said the parts he put on it MIGHT fix it, if not I need to find a new carb. I told him I would just come get it. The day after I spoke tohim Icame to pick it up...only to find IT WAS STILL IN PIECES!!!! I remained calm while the guy told me to pull the boat back around the shop and let him put things back together. Well, that didn' work out so well. While my 3 yr old son and I stood around and sweated in the sun (him now crying because we've been sitting there so long) ...These two guys decided they had to first take some things off and drill some holes before everything would fit. They finally got it together and we left. They charged me 200$ and still didnt know if it would be fixed!! On top of that they severed my metal fuel line and "zip-tied" what looked like a section of plastic tubing between the two pieces. Now the boat won't even start!! NEVER TAKE YOUR BOAT TO THIS PLACE!!! I wish someone had warned me!!
