Cub Cadet/MTD used a plastic bayonet oil plug that failed during use causing the need for service. Evergreen AG estimated the time needed about 2-3 weeks and about $275. They kept the mower 6 weeks and always had some excuse as to when it would be ready. The additional cost was due to additional unknown damage caused by the poorly designed/manufactured oil cap. The mower seems to be running very well.
