Van Parham AKA Handyman Van
About us
Most of my customers are repeats and referrals from existing customers. We do jobs from fairly simple to large and complex, a large job is really many smaller jobs combined, if each one goes correctly then the whole will be a success. My goal is a satisfied customer who wants to have me again and share me with family and friends. I can not go see every one who calls, I do good to keep up with most of the callers. Please don't get hurt feelings if I fail to call you back, I want to, just can't. I don;t mind you calling back to check either. I do care about my customers well being and will look after you. Estimates are freely given. You can call or text on weekends too.

"I did not seem to care because I believed Member to only have a problem when payment was requested after much longer that a month. The other comments are not accurate in my opinion either. You did tell me that you fixed one area yourself and now say you hired it out (which one is it?), knowing that your invoice was unpaid. More was repaired than requested although I do not know about the one area in question(was not in my notes but I believed you). I do know that if it had been brought up, it would have been completed promptly. I am disappointed that you choose to present our otherwise pleasant encounter this way. As an extremely approachable person, I believe had their been a true problem you would have made a simple inquiry into whether your job was completed. When payment request was presented you used the "missed" work as leverage to pay much less that your job was quoted as you had to get up there and do it yourself. As to sloppy work, you have taken great creative license to attempt to discredit me so you will feel justified in not paying. Your roof had extensive patch/repair prior to this date. If not paying is your goal, and I suspect it is, please just do not pay. Had I known that a simple request for payment would result in the review I had to read, I would have not sent it. You just were not worth it."
He answered the call promptly and to my surprise, said he could come out that afternoon to look at the roof. He came out within a few hours and made the repair. He was very personable and hopefully efficient. I guess we'll find out that part the next time we get a good rain. Assuming the leak is well-repaired (and I have no reason to think otherwise), I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
The job was completed in 3 or 4 days, I believe.
