At the beginning is was great. Met with the estimator and got a quote. When discussed when I wanted the move to take place that was not a problem, including being out of the residence on the final day of the move by 12 noon due to the closing. Estimator handed it over to the move specialist. Many of the details of the initial encounter were seemingly lost or not available so I had to go over all the details again. Movers showed up two days before the final load and packed. The day before the load packed at the primary residence and loaded a local storage unit that had been previously packed (by owner). The movers were reminded that we had to be out by noon on the final day; not a problem we were told. They called the day before and asked to start early and we said as early as you want. On the final day they did not show up until almost an hour late. By that time I was going to the closing and no one was at the house so the final pack and load was delayed by two hours. When we started loading (almost 6000 square feet) there were three individuals. As predicted, it went slow. After repeated calls to the company, more were sent to the residence (seven hours later) and the load was finished, 8 1/2 hours after the noon deadline. I then had to drive 200 miles so that we could get to our new house on time the next day. I was then told they would call the day before the delivery to confirm a time. I called them two days before but was told everything was ok, just wait for their call. Late afternoon the day before I attempted to call since I had not heard from them and I could only get machines. We had no idea when or if they would show up. The day of delivery we got up early and went out for breakfast since we knew it would be a long day. We have a 15 y/o dog we wanted to get out of the situation and my partner had a knee injury they were going to a local hotel to wait it out. While out we got a call that they were "there". We rushed back and there was an attitude as to "why weren't you here?" Since we had no notice, it was a moot point. An hour later we got a call from the dispatch asking where they were (physical address). They had no idea where they were to deliver! When the back of the truck was opened, it was all we as the van had leaked during the transport. One of the workers said they knew of this but could not find the leak so the truck was used anyway. The driver, who was supposed to be the coordinator of the move never left the cab of the truck even though the drop off took almost 12 hours. The local helpers said they had never seen a more uncoordinated operation. Of course, several pieces were damaged as at the load in the "12 hour rush to load" some items that should have been backed were just wrapped and shoved in. What a nightmare!

They were so efficient. They had several people involved in the process, they sent in a crew to help with packing. They called to make sure I was satisified and also stopped by to make sure everything was going well. I was provided a sales liason to make sure everything was good. They were a little pricey but it was definitely worth it, I feel like you get what you pay for. The price included the crew and packing materials and they were very up front about the cost.
