Progessive Tile & Marble

Jeff, the owner, was the first to respond and the first to come out to many,many requests I made to many different companies for an estimate. I ended up getting 3 estimates and his was, by far, the cheapest because he took the time to see what materials we already had and inspected the tile to make sure he could reuse it and it would be enough. He was always on time, he worked very quickly, he was very polite, and he kept me informed every step of the way. After we chose Jeff, we had a death in the family and had to leave for the funeral the day Jeff was scheduled to work in our home. Our trust was well placed when we left Jeff alone in our home to work. He showed up the next morning to finish (the pan had to dry overnight). I let him in, paid him in advance because we wouldn't be there when he finished, and left to go to work. He asked for instructions to lock up and gave me detailed instructions on when to use my shower and how to care for it before I left. I had a few stone tiles for the shower floor left over from when the house was built. He suggested mixing them in with the ones he picked out to give the shower character. It looks stunning. I called Jeff a day later about a tiny seam on the outside of the shower that didn't get grouted. He came right over and was in and out in 10 minutes. He truly wanted to make sure we were happy with our shower and you can tell he takes pride in his work.

We suspected water damage and/or mold in the floor of our master bathroom shower.  Jeff quickly confirmed our suspicions and quoted a price immediately.  He started within three days of our phone call to hire him for the job. He tore out the floor and found a mess. Liner was installed on top of the mud and cut larger than needed. Drain was improperly installed and tile uneven and not under the drain. He tore out everything including one row of tile up the walls. He found a small amount of green mold (no black mold), but the plates (2x4 on concrete slab) were soaked !  However, they weren't rotten.  Jeff doused them good with bleach and they dried considerably overnight with a fan going.  Next, he applied a new liner and hooked it into the drain mechanism properly and topped it with a new mud bed.  The next day, he tiled and grouted the new tile and sponged off the excess grout.  It's beautiful and we loved it !  Better still, we know it is done properly this time.  We absolutely recommend Jeff Wooten.  (He also repaired some tile in our house so I gave him $50 extra !)
