Jo Ann was great to work with!  She was professional and gave us her expectations and goals up front.  She was very open in communication, guiding us through improvements/staging, pricing, showings, and ultimately negotiations.   Jo Ann was punctual and very professional during each and every encounter.

At the end of February I accepted a job in another state, so I began to sell the house in Madison MS. Jo Ann came from nowhere, but now seemed to me she was just there for me. :) I found her on Angie's list. She was the first realtor I contacted, so I was thinking finding more so I could compare then decide.
 Then following days, because I was so busy, so I forgot this easily. Jo Ann would call or text me every other three or four days. Finally on a weekend we met at my home. I was not very impressed because she didn't even try to "drag" me into business. But I feel so comfortable and just like you are talking about your plan with a friend or family, and she was giving you very honest advice. I didn't sign the contract with her that day, I told her honestly I want to try if I can sell it by myself.
She was doing the same thing in the following days, sending me emails to discuss with me or give me suggestions. On the day I had to leave Madison, I called her and signed contract with her.
From the day I left to the day the house was sold, about a whole month, Jo Ann had been working on it diligently, she went to the house early and gave me the suggestion to get it ready. She would give me very detailed information on the house here and there so I know what is happening.
Everybody knows how many things you need to deal with when you sell a house, but Jo Ann made this for me very smooth and worry-free. It is not I didn't want to but began a new job in a new place leave me no time to think too much on it. I feel blessed that Jo Ann is there for us.
Yesterday it was the closing day, after she came out of the attorney's office, she called me and congratulated me. I told her I didn't feel very excited because she did all the job. :)
Well I feel lucky that I found her, if you are reading this, you are lucky! She is a hard-working, dependable, consistent person. I wish she is here in the same city with me helping me finding my next home. 
 

Jo Ann is an excellent, professional realtor. She is in the process of helping us purchase a home. She has been very patient as we have changed our minds about homes. She has shown us several homes and has provided her opinion without being pushy. We would recommend her to others.

We have put in an offer on two differenct houses and both time, not of Jo Ann's doing the sellers have been very contrary and the outcome has not been good for us.  One seller increased the price in his counter offer by $10,000 instead of coming down some.  The other refused to come off his asking price at all and only offered part of the closing cost as his concession.  Both things are not normally heard of.  Jo Ann handled things well and encouraged us to stay with it.  We are looking at another couple this weekend to try again!

Last year I met Mrs. Dossett in the store I work in. She was very friendly, classy, intelligent, down-to earth, and easy to talk to. When I found out that she was a realtor, something told me to ask for her business card. Honestly, I had no desire to move, nor did I currently have any real estate needs. But I felt strongly impressed to get her card. It was a divine connection. My father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, not long after I met her. Months went by as Mom and I struggled to disperse his belongings and prepare his house to put on the market. Because Mom insisted we DIDN'T need a realtor, we put it up for sale "by owner" listing it on Craig's List and on a few public bulletin boards in January 2010, with no luck. By March, our attorney and I insisted we DID need a realtor, but I wanted us to interview at least 3 before making a mutual choice. Mom finally agreed. I told her the last thing we needed was to get stuck with a realtor who just puts his/her feet up and puts forth little or no effort after we sign the listing agreement. We wanted to get Dad's house sold ASAP because of all the expenses adding up (utilities, insurance, property taxes, lawn maintenance, etc.) Her candidate refused to meet with us until he saw the house. So our first meeting was with Mrs. Dossett (my choice.) After our meeting with her, Mom and I had dinner to discuss the interview. When I asked Mom what she thought of Mrs. Dossett, she said, "We can go with her." Thinking she was just trying to please me, I asked if she still wanted to meet with her guy, and maybe one other realtor. Mom replied, "No, I Iike her and am happy to choose her." I couldn't wait to tell Mrs. Dossett! I had been praying for God to give us wisdom in selecting the best candidate for the job. And she was DEFINITELY the one! I've used 2 other realtors in my life time, but they can't hold a candle to Mrs. Dossett! She is AWESOME!!! She doesn't have to be prodded to do her job. She's a "go-getter!" She's VERY diligent, VERY knowledgeable, and stays in touch very well. She's very responsive to calls, texts, and emails. She stays on top of EVERYTHING, to the point that you (the seller) can practically prop YOUR feet up! She doesn't mind answering questions and explaining anything you don't understand. She's very protective of her clients and advises them like a wonderful mother would. She treats you as a friend. She's also very good at giving sellers some inexpensive tips to make their homes more appealing to buyers. You can trust her to do her job with Christian excellence. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG HIRING HER!
