Initially my experience with All Pro was good. We had issues during the installation of ductwork/vents with placement of the vents and had to have a couple of them relocated. While the placement may have been functionally ideal, asthetically the choices were not good and relocating them to a better position did not really negatively affect functionality. All Pro relocated them free of charge. The system worked great and we were quite happy with it until the following cooling season when the unit would not cool properly. All Pro came out and added freon (a sure indication of a leak) and the unit worked fine afterward. All Pro's response to my question about leaks was that the system just needed to be and quot;topped offand quot;. Next cooling season...same thing. This time they checked for leaks but did not find one. I think it was later that season they had to be called out again. This time All Pro decided to replace the expansion valve in the air handler. This cost me $600. The part was free, but their labor and freon was not. All Pro continued to deny that there we any leaks. I involved the Better Business Bureau but unfortunately I did not receive all the documentation from All Pro's visits because it was warranty work until the most recent call. I could not prove that All Pro had added freon every year and All Pro denied it.
I have had a friend of mine (licensed to handle freon) charge my system 2 times since then. On his last visit we found the leak on the heat exchanger outside. A nice little oily spot on the cover. I have photographed the evidence and I am going send it to All Pro and give them the chance to and quot;do the right thingand quot;. My advice to anyone that uses them is to be sure and document EVERYTHING and don't expect them to be honest when the situation is to their disadvantage. I will not use them again unless they come solve my problem at their own cost. After that, I will not use them again.

Boy, did getting the service contract pay off. When the heat wasn't working on one of my units, they came right out and it didn't cost anything. Yea!

It was kind of funny because when the tech went under the house he asked me to turn on the thermostat and when I started smelling the gas, I kind of panicked but they explained to me they were able to shut it off from where they were too. So I calmed down real quick then. They were really nice and understanding.

The people who installed it had not installed it correctly and these people came out and did the correct installation procedures. We haven't had a speck of trouble since they got that done. We didn't have to pay anything because it was still under warranty. They came out and looked at it and called the manufacturer and told them about it. The manufacturer knew what had happened and told them how to install it correctly. There was a service bulletin on that on how to install it correctly and the manufacturer paid for their service. They knew what they were looking at and knew how to get hold of the manufacturer. It was really very hot and we went without the service for about a week, and it was terrible. They came out very quickly. They had to order a few parts and that took the most time since they had to get some specific parts from the manufacturer. It took about 2-3 days for the parts to come in, and then they scheduled it and came out and were able to get it done and working in about a day. They were very professional. We would definitely call them again when needed.

It took several days to get the parts in while we were having 90 degrees in the house and later after they fixed it, we had to called them back because it was not doing the job. They checked it and discovered that a coil needed cleaning and one was blocked. After that, it worked. They did not charge us for the second visit and they warranty their work for 30 days.
