I have several cats. They are older so and I have moved fairly frequently so I have used vets in various cities. I was upset that they required sedation of my cats to draw blood and sedation is pretty expensive. I asked if they'd please try to draw their blood without sedation since these cats are calm, in the past have never caused a problem for any vet drawing blood. They refused (two different vets there). They do not do their exams in the room like every other vet I have been to. On more than on occasion I heard one of my cats carrying on in the back as they were doing a basic exam. She has ever ever done that with any other vet. Another cat started hissing and growling in the back (they admitted both cats were the ones making the noise when I asked). This cat usually freezes when scared and previous vets could do about anything to her and she wouldn't move or make a peep. I am not sure what they were doing to my cats with routine annual checks, but my cats did not handle well what they were doing - which was not consistent with the last 8 years of taking them to vets. When I asked if they could do their exam in the room since they had been so upset the other times they refused. They are knowledgable, competent, generally people (vets and support staff) are reasonably nice, and there are vets on call in an emergency, however I did not like how they padded their bill by requiring sedation, how they mistreated my cats multiple times and how they refused to do things in ways that would reduce the stress for my cats (eg routine exam in room). I went to them multiple times over several years and used 2 of their vets before I finally fired them. When I called them to express my displeasure over what was going on the vet I talked to stated this is how they did things, I could leave the practice if I didn't like it. I told her I had called to let them know I was leaving and to get my cats' medical records. That vet then turned a 180 and tried to talk me into not firing them. As I said before, they are competent, I just seriously object to some of their practices and my cats did not respond well to how they did things. The vet practice I switched to examines my cats in the room with me present and my cats are back to being calm and not yowling, hissing and growling when seeing a vet. The new vet has had no trouble drawing blood from them (she has done it in the room with me there) and stated, when I asked, that she saw absolutely no reason to require sedation to draw their blood. Your mileage may vary from mine. I should have switched to a different vet sooner than I did because of the distress they repeatedly caused my cats at their practice. Because they are competent I kept hoping things would change. They didn't.

Everyone is professional and courteous. I feel like the vets are extremely knowledgeable and listen to my concerns and address them all. My dogs are always in great condition after boarding.

First, when I drove up the facility just did not feel right to me. The parking is cramped and the building looks dilapidated. When I entered the waiting room it smelled and did not feel clean. I had to board my pet - it was very late in the afternoon and I had no alternative. had just made an 8 hour car trip. My realtor had said All Creatures was fine, although I now know she had never used them. I have a toy poodle and I asked the ladies at the front desk if he could stay in the cat room - that's a quit place for him. They said he could stay in the and quot;sickand quot; room with the calm animals. So I went with the lady to take him to where he would be. It was awful. The smell was overwhelming. I put him in the cold, steel kennel with his own blanket and left him. I felt awful about it! I went back early the next morning and got him and made other arrangements for him after that.

All services were delivered exceptionally.

We recently relocated to Ridgeland, MS. I needed a new vet for our dogs so I went to Angie's list. I found this vet to have excellent reviews overall and gave them a call. They fit me right in and were Fantastic!
Upon arrival I had to fill out new patient paperwork. The staff was so thoughtful they had someone come and hold my dog while I completed the paperwork. They were kind, considerate and pleasant.
They took my old records and updated them in their computer and will now send me email reminders for vaccinations.
The cost was less than half of what I had paid at my prior vet.

They did a good job treating my pet and diagnosing his condition.

My husband and I just moved to Madison, MS from San Diego in late May 2013. Two weeks before our move our Basset/Lab mix was daignosed with Addison's disease and we were informed that he needs monthly treatments for the rest of his life. So besides moving and house shopping I had to find a vet...and fast. I poured over all the listings on Angie's List and choose All Creatures. They have several vererinarians in the office and ours is Lyndsay Summers. She examined Bugsy (the Addison's disease patient) and offered treatment options that my California vet never told me about. She also informed me about the fleas and ticks in Mississippi and I left with treatment for all three dogs. The next week I brought in our incontinent arthritic shih-tzu. Dr. Summers gave her a full examination and tweaked her arthritis medication a little. During all my office vists and phone calls the staff has always been very helpful and friendly. I am glad I found All Creatures Animal Care Center.

It is extremely fairly priced. This is one of the best vets I have found, I was very excited. This is excellent place. They are wonderful to the pets and owners. They are academically up to date on their knowledge of pet care.

All Creatures Animal Care Ctr diagnosed the problem quickly, in 5 minutes, as a long piece of grass caught in his teeth which was running down his throat. They care about the animal and I get to be in the room with my cat. All Creatures Animal Care Ctr is friendly, very professional, they are attentive, they listen, they're personable, and I trust them. It is sometimes hard to get an appointment but the price is good.

Poor quality of care. There was no follow up care on our dog after they did surgery on her.
The day after our dog's surgery, we couldn't get anyone in the clinic to re-examine her when she developed complications. We called their office two days in a row begging them to give us an appointment but each time we called we were told they were and quot;too fulland quot; to see her.
Follow up care on pets after surgery should be a priority if nothing else and quot;a standard of care!and quot;

The price that I pay is not for seeing the doctor, but it's for the medicine. I use them because it's very close and they were recommended to me. They accommodate me real well. The animal boarding has been good as well.

They take real good care of my dog and they seem to know me when I go in. They will board my dog if I have to go someplace on the spur of the moment; they are just real good. I don't have any complaints.
