DOSS ELECTRIC CO

They were wonderful but Mr. Doss retired and sold the business. And when they sold the business, they sold it to someone I'd never work with. Mr. Doss would bill us, I pay the bills so I would pay the full invoice. I never made payments, I just paid the full invoice. I got this invoice from Doss Electric telling me that I owed $300. I had called for another job and so that job cost around 500 and some dollars and when I got the bill, I paid the whole amount but  a few weeks later I got another bill for $300 and so I wanted to know what that was about. I called and was told that it was the balance left on a job that had been done for us 2 years prior. I looked in my bank records, I had paid $300. So I called them, I said, I paid the invoice and they said, well no, the invoice was $600. I said, well, can you send me a copy of that invoice? Oh no, they didn't have the invoice. My husband  said, to keep them from calling and harassing, just pay it. So I called them and told them, I did not believe that I owed them $300 but that I would go ahead and pay it to settle the matter. We went on vacation, I hadn't paid it, I was waiting for payday and when I came back a fixture had been moved from my front porch and a threatening note from Doss Electric which really upset me. We will never use Doss electric again but they had been wonderful.  He was harassing me on a bill that was 2 years old.
