"I would totally hire this company again! Aaron with Safe Haven fencing is very professional and a great communicator. He is a pleasure to work with. Aaron installed one side of a chain link fence, one driveway gate, and he fabricated half of a driveway gate for me. He also went around the entire fence line and made repairs and welds where needed. I definitely recommend this company for all your fencing needs. He mostly does wood fences but he still took my chain link job. His prices are reasonable and he goes above and beyond to deliver as promised."

"EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!! Very professional from the get go. Mr. Pat responded quickly to my original contact and each time after during our project. He was on time and actually showed up when he said he would (unlike any other contractor we've used in the past). His crew was very professional. From taking care of the existing furniture and flooring to the sweeping and vacuuming at the end. The fee for job was WELL in the scope of the work and the finished job was way above our expectations. This is THE contractor you want. Period. We will DEFINITELY be using WCR as our project continues to expand!!!!"

Gate Repair questions, answered by experts

The most common cause of gate sensors not working is damaged wiring. Only a professional should diagnose this because it requires working with the system's electronics. There are safety concerns, but more than that, you don't want to accidentally short out your system or cause any electrical damage. Insects, rodents, and fallen branches are common reasons your wiring could become damaged.

Many contractors offer warranties for materials and labor. Confirm terms before hiring.

Automatic gates don’t use too much electricity, and you should see a minimal effect on your utility bill. In fact, certain gate systems are entirely self-sufficient and rely on solar panels attached to or near the gate to power the motor. While a gate is large and there is a powerful motor moving it, it’s not something that sees constant use throughout the day. For most automatic gates, expect to see a utility bill increase of only around $10 per month.

To make your gate safe, purchase a gate made from strong material such as wrought iron, stainless steel, or other metals. Ensure that the gate has strong joints and bars that are welded on rather than inserted loosely. If you’re concerned about people climbing over your gate, you can deter them by installing fence spikes along the top as an extra precaution.

Yes, professionals can install gates with locking mechanisms and access control systems for added security.
