"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

"I had requested 3 roofers from Angie's List and 3 from Home Adviser. None of the one's from Home Adviser even called me. Roger not only called but came that evening after I got off work. He gave the best quote and when we told him he had the job he was there the next day and had the job completed and cleaned up before I got off work. We were talking to him about some other work we were looking at doing and he looked at it and had his electrician come check it out to give us a quote in a few days. We will use him again on many of our home repairs."

Gutter Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Water overflow, foundation damage, and mold growth are risks.

Yes, there are several downsides to installing rain chains. For one, rain chains have a lower flow capacity than a typical gutter and downspout system. This means that if there is a rainstorm, the rain chain can stop working completely. Rain chains also cannot redirect rainwater away from your house. In homes with a sloped yard, this could cause water damage in your foundation or basement.

Water should not be dripping behind your gutters. Rain dripping between your gutters and the fascia might indicate that the gutters are misaligned with the fascia board or there are loose screws in the gutters, allowing water to pass through. Start by checking for these issues and make repairs ASAP.

Clean regularly to prevent clogs, check for cracks, and ensure downspouts direct water away from the foundation.

Clean regularly, inspect for rust or damage, and apply sealant to joints as needed.
