I am your one stop door man. I hang both residential and commercial doors. My specialty is hollow metal commercial doors. I do maintenance, as well as tear out installs. I also hang garage doors and roll up doors. I take pride in my work. My business is both licensed & insured. If you have a door that is not functioning properly or you would like to have a door installed, give me, your local door guy, a holler!

Here at Shock LLC we provide all services necessary for the repair and maintenance of your property. Since we began in 2013, we have handled every job with great attention to detail and completed each project in the same way that we would do it for ourselves. "Ryan did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. He was on time, completed the work within the proposed time frame. Have another project that I will be using him on. Price was fair and he performed the job like he was doing it on his own home."

We only sell garage doors that meet county wind requirements. Whether you're looking for the beautiful Carriage House style that adds beauty and class to your home, an energy efficient door that keeps your home warm or cool while reducing energy bills, or just want a completely reliable garage door that's affordable, we've got a model that fits your needs.

"Eventually, it worked ok. Problems- a) they said over the phone that the technician would have the parts and he didn’t so he had to come back the next day, and we waited all morning and half of the afternoon for him to arrive. B) I thought $800 was a ridiculous amount for a door spring. We will never use this company again. C). Eventually, he got the door to work by modifying the wrong spring instead of using the correct spring. All in all, a poor experience."

We have 4 employees and 4 sub-contracts. We except money orders or certified checks. We need a least a third down.

Garage Doors questions, answered by experts

In most cases, you do not need planning permission to change a garage door to a normal door, unless a specific restriction is present on your home’s deed. If you’re changing the door because you are trying to convert the garage into a living space, you will need to work with building control for proper signoffs to ensure your conversion meets all of the necessary construction standards.

Your epoxy garage floors will last two to 10 years, depending on foot traffic and maintenance. Clean your floor regularly with a mop or a power washer using a diluted ammonia or degreaser solution. Use five ounces of ammonia per gallon of water or a half-cup of degreaser per gallon of water.

Also, sweep regularly, clean up any spills right away, and install mats in places where you expect the most foot traffic.

You should be able to paint most of your garage door with a small roller, but there will likely be details and nooks and crannies that are best handled with the help of a detail brush. After you have painted most of your garage door, make sure to take a step back to review your work—if you have a friend or family member nearby to offer another set of eyes, great!)—and clean up any missed spots with a brush.

Faux wood garage doors provide the best insulation for garages. This style is commonly insulated with polyurethane foam—a thermal conductor—that retains heat and keeps you and the inside of your garage warm.

Garage doors are heavy and close under power, so ensuring they're safe should be one of the priorities of a homeowner. Installing at least one sensor is a good start, but it doesn't hurt to have two, especially considering you can install a secondary system for less than $100. Remember that sensors require calibration and simple but regular maintenance checks— installing them is only the first step.
